The Role
A secondary school in Wolverhampton is seeking a passionate and dedicated English Teacher to join its English department from September 2026 on a supply basis.
The successful candidate will teach English Language and English Literature across KS3 and KS4, delivering engaging and well-structured lessons that develop students’ reading, writing, communication, and analytical skills. You will support students in building confidence while preparing them for their GCSE English qualifications.

- Hold QTS or be an ECT
- Have experience teaching English across KS3 and KS4
- Be confident delivering English Language and Literature
- Demonstrate strong classroom management and organisational skills
- Be committed to supporting student progress and raising attainment
- Have excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Have a genuine passion for English and inspiring young people
