Milk Education is working in partnership with a welcoming and inclusive secondary school in L12, Liverpool to recruit an experienced English Teacher for a full-time position starting in November 2026.
This is an excellent opportunity to join a supportive school with a strong leadership team and a commitment to helping every student achieve their full potential. The successful candidate will teach English Language and Literature across KS3 and KS4, delivering engaging lessons that inspire a love of reading, writing and communication.
The Role
As an English Teacher, you will:
- Deliver engaging and well-planned English lessons across KS3 and KS4
- Foster students' reading, writing, speaking and analytical skills
- Differentiate learning to meet the needs of all learners
- Monitor, assess and track student progress
- Prepare students for assessments and GCSE examinations
- Maintain a positive and inclusive classroom environment
- Work collaboratively with colleagues, parents and carers to support student success

The Ideal Candidate
- Qualified Teacher Status (QTS)
- Experience teaching English within a UK secondary school
- Strong subject knowledge across KS3 and KS4, with KS5 experience desirable
- Excellent classroom management and communication skills
- A passionate and engaging approach to teaching English
- Commitment to raising attainment and supporting student progress
- Enhanced DBS on the Update Service (or willingness to apply)
