Teach English in Hong Kong: applications open now.
Ready to swap the familiar for skyscrapers, dim sum and island hikes, while building a real international teaching career? Hong Kong is one of the most exciting places in Asia to teach English, and this role is open to graduates with or without teaching experience.
Why teach in Hong Kong?
- A city like no other: neon-lit night markets, mountain trails and more than 260 outlying islands, all within an hour of your front door.
- An established school: join a well-regarded after-school English school with branches across central Hong Kong, teaching small classes of just 4–10 children.
- Strong pay and bonuses: HK$23,000 a month (approx. £2,200), plus a HK$12,000 contract completion bonus and a HK$6,000 training bonus. That's around £28,000 across the year.
- A ready-made community: a sociable network of international teachers already living in Hong Kong, with regular meet-ups and events.

I’m in my final year doing Economics and I don’t know whether to apply for grad schemes now or do a masters first. What do you think?
Honest answer — it depends on where you want to end up. A lot of top grad schemes (Big 4, civil service, banking) don’t need a masters. Let’s look at the ones you’d be competitive for now, and we can decide if a masters actually adds anything.
Also worth knowing: most autumn 2026 applications are open now. Timing matters more than you think.

Grad scheme, placement, apprenticeship? Not sure what you want yet — that's fine. Your agent talks it through with you and turns "I have no idea" into a shortlist.
