About The English Teacher Role
- Teaching English across KS3 and KS4
- Any English A-level would be an advantage
- Biology, Chemistry or Physics specialisms welcomed
- Deliver engaging and challenging English lessons
- Work alongside an experienced team of English Teachers
- Support students across a wide range of abilities
- Maintain high expectations for behaviour and achievement
- Contribute to the continued success of the English department
The Successful English Teacher Will Have
- QTS or equivalent
- Previous experience teaching English within a UK secondary school
- Strong subject knowledge
- Good classroom and behaviour management
- Excellent communication and organisational skills
- A genuine enthusiasm for English
- The ability to work effectively as part of a department
- Full-time availability and commitment to the role
