English Tutor Opportunity

Experience Required: 3+ Years
We are looking for an experienced and engaging English Tutor to support learners through structured, interactive, and practical learning sessions. The ideal candidate should have strong communication skills, a learner-focused approach, and the ability to deliver high-quality online sessions.
Key Responsibilities
- Conduct engaging and interactive English language sessions for learners with different proficiency levels.
- Develop structured lesson plans aligned with learner requirements and learning objectives.
- Support learners in improving grammar, vocabulary, pronunciation, speaking, writing, reading, and listening skills.
- Conduct conversational English and communication-focused activities to improve learner confidence.
- Use practical exercises, discussions, role plays, presentations, and real-world examples during sessions.
- Assess learner performance and provide clear, constructive, and actionable feedback.
- Identify individual learning gaps and adapt teaching strategies accordingly.
- Create or customize learning materials, assignments, exercises, and practice activities.
- Help learners develop professional communication skills for academic and workplace environments.
- Encourage active participation and maintain an inclusive, supportive, and engaging virtual classroom.
- Track learner progress and provide appropriate recommendations for improvement.
- Conduct individual or group sessions based on learner requirements.
- Introduce effective communication techniques, vocabulary-building strategies, and independent learning practices.
- Stay updated with modern English teaching methodologies, digital learning tools, and educational resources.
- Maintain professional communication with learners and contribute to a positive learning experience.

Required Qualifications and Experience
- 3+ years of professional experience as an English Tutor, English Teacher, Language Trainer, Communication Trainer, or in a similar role.
- Strong command of spoken and written English with excellent grammar and vocabulary.
- Excellent pronunciation and the ability to demonstrate clear and natural spoken English.
- Proven experience delivering online or virtual English language sessions.
- Strong understanding of English language teaching methodologies and learner-centered approaches.
- Ability to teach learners across different proficiency levels and backgrounds.
- Experience designing lesson plans, learning activities, assignments, and supplementary materials.
- Strong presentation, interpersonal, and classroom management skills.
- Ability to explain complex language concepts in a simple and practical manner.
- Strong digital literacy and confidence using online teaching platforms and collaboration tools.
- Ability to provide constructive feedback and monitor learner development.
- Strong organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple learners and learning requirements.
- A degree in English, Education, Linguistics, or a related field is preferred.
- TEFL, TESOL, CELTA, DELTA, or another recognized English teaching qualification is an advantage.
- Experience teaching professional or business English is an added advantage.
