Job Title: Enhanced Care Team Leader
About the Role
We are seeking two exceptional individuals to act as Enhanced Care Team leaders, who will deliver effective and efficient operational management and clinical oversight of enhanced care within the organisation to our most vulnerable patients. The postholder will work closely with emergency department and inpatient ward staff, providing expert assessment and allocation of resources, and providing motivational leadership to a team of junior staff, role modelling a psychologically safe and trauma-informed approach.
Responsibilities
- Provide professional leadership within the clinical area and provide direction, and inspirational leadership to all members of the multi-disciplinary team working alongside the enhanced care team.
- Develop protocols/guidelines and patient information.
- Ensure systems and processes for the planning, provision and review of enhanced care.
- Deliver therapeutic engagement and interventions to patients with mental health conditions, cognitive impairment or those experiencing psychological distress whilst working in collaboration with internal and external stakeholders.
- Provide regular reports on the effectiveness of the team in delivering quality care by reducing restrictive practices and incidents of harm.

About the Organisation
