I’m in my final year doing Economics and I don’t know whether to apply for grad schemes now or do a masters first. What do you think?
Honest answer — it depends on where you want to end up. A lot of top grad schemes (Big 4, civil service, banking) don’t need a masters. Let’s look at the ones you’d be competitive for now, and we can decide if a masters actually adds anything.
Also worth knowing: most autumn 2026 applications are open now. Timing matters more than you think.

Grad scheme, placement, apprenticeship? Not sure what you want yet — that's fine. Your agent talks it through with you and turns "I have no idea" into a shortlist.

We are seeking dedicated Enrolled Nurses to join our aged care team on a casual basis, providing high-quality care and clinical support across our care community.

These are rewarding opportunities to build meaningful connections with residents and their families while being part of a supportive team that values professionalism, collaboration, and ongoing development. If you are adaptable and committed to delivering high-quality, resident-focused care, we would love to hear from you.

- Monitor residents’ health, report changes promptly to Registered Nurses, and support the care team in delivering safe, person-centred care.
- Participate in team handovers, care planning discussions, and initiatives that promote a safe, respectful, and supportive environment for residents.
About You
You’ll thrive with us if you have:
- Diploma of Nursing and current AHPRA registration as an Enrolled Nurse, with a minimum of 2 years post-graduate clinical experience, preferably in aged care.
- Strong clinical skills, sound judgement, and the ability to monitor, assess, and respond to changes in residents’ health.
- Knowledge of residential care practices, care planning, clinical documentation, and the Commonwealth Aged Care Funding Instrument.
- Understanding of aged care accreditation processes and a commitment to providing safe, high-quality, person-centred care.
- Excellent communication, teamwork, and interpersonal skills to collaborate effectively with residents, families, and the care team.
- Current National Police Certificate and NDIS Workers Screening Clearance (or ability to obtain), required immunisations, and a flexible, professional approach to shift work.
