Enterprise Risk Manager
A leading global financial services organisation is seeking an experienced Enterprise Risk professional to join its Risk function in a highly visible transformation and integration role.
This position sits at the centre of strategic change activity, partnering with senior stakeholders across the business to ensure acquisitions, new business initiatives, regulatory developments and transformation programmes are effectively integrated into the firm’s risk framework.
The successful individual will combine deep enterprise risk expertise with strong programme delivery capabilities, acting as the key coordinator across financial and non-financial risk disciplines including Market Risk, Credit Risk, Operational Risk, Technology Risk and Risk Governance.
Key Responsibilities:
- Translate strategic initiatives into clear risk, governance, operational, technology and control requirements.
- Lead the design and implementation of future-state Risk operating models.
- Coordinate cross-functional Risk deliverables across multiple specialist teams.
- Oversee acquisition integrations, business change initiatives and regulatory programmes.
- Assess impacts on risk appetite, governance frameworks and control environments.
- Partner with business, technology and programme teams to define system, data and reporting requirements.
- Establish governance forums and provide senior management reporting on key initiatives.
- Challenge programme assumptions to ensure alignment with enterprise risk principles and regulatory expectations.
- Support implementation assurance activities and targeted controls testing across material change programmes.

Candidate Profile:

- Significant Enterprise Risk experience within financial services or another highly regulated environment.
- Strong understanding of financial products, trading activities and associated risks.
- Experience delivering large-scale change, transformation or integration programmes.
- Deep knowledge of Governance, Risk & Compliance (GRC) frameworks and risk governance.
- Strong stakeholder management skills with the ability to influence senior leadership.
- Experience producing Board and Executive-level reporting.
- Exposure to regulatory engagement and audit activity is advantageous.
