Enterprise Account Executive

About:

Our client is the leading intelligence platform for the global energy storage market, helping investors, utilities, developers, and traders make better commercial decisions through independent market data, forecasting, and analytics.

Founded by two engineers who identified a gap in the rapidly evolving energy storage sector, the business has grown from selling market reports to becoming the trusted intelligence platform for more than 200 organizations worldwide. Customers use the platform to understand market risk, identify investment opportunities, and maximize the value of their energy assets.

Having grown to 8-figure revenues, with over 50% year-on-year growth and more than £30m in funding, the business is entering its next phase of international expansion. They are now hiring an experienced Enterprise Account Executive in London to win and develop larger strategic customers across Europe.

This is an opportunity to join a proven, high-growth business while its enterprise sales motion is still being built. The successful candidate will inherit strong market demand and marketing support, while bringing greater structure, qualification, and commercial discipline to complex opportunities.

Key Highlights:

  • Currently generating 8-figure revenues, growing over 50% year-on-year and targeting close to £20m ARR by the end of 2027.
  • Raised more than £30m in funding, including a recent investment round of almost £25m to accelerate international growth.
  • Trusted by more than 200 organizations globally, including major investors, utilities, independent power producers, and financial advisers.
  • Selling a highly differentiated market intelligence platform.
  • Typical customers include alternative investment funds, pension funds, utilities, and businesses investing in or operating energy assets.
  • Enterprise opportunities involve senior decision-makers across Strategy, Business Development, Investment, Finance, and Analytics, alongside procurement, legal, and end users.
  • Current contract values range from £30k to £150k ARR, with many multi-year agreements and significant opportunities to increase average deal sizes beyond £100k.
  • Approximately 80% of EMEA revenue has historically come through inbound demand, with an established marketing team identifying and engaging high-potential accounts.
  • Joining as the business introduces a more structured sales process and builds a repeatable enterprise playbook across qualification, discovery, stakeholder management, and closing.
  • Working alongside an experienced international sales team, with Account Executives currently based across London, New York, and Australia.

Reasons to use Rodeo

I’m in my final year doing Economics and I don’t know whether to apply for grad schemes now or do a masters first. What do you think?

Honest answer — it depends on where you want to end up. A lot of top grad schemes (Big 4, civil service, banking) don’t need a masters. Let’s look at the ones you’d be competitive for now, and we can decide if a masters actually adds anything.

Also worth knowing: most autumn 2026 applications are open now. Timing matters more than you think.

Start with a chat, not a search bar

Grad scheme, placement, apprenticeship? Not sure what you want yet — that's fine. Your agent talks it through with you and turns "I have no idea" into a shortlist.

Role:

  • Owning the full enterprise sales cycle, taking strategic opportunities from initial discovery through business case development, commercial negotiation, and close.
  • Selling subscriptions typically worth £80k–£120k ARR, with the opportunity to win larger, multi-year agreements across complex enterprise organizations.
  • Engaging senior stakeholders within utilities, investment firms, and other organizations deploying capital into the energy market.
  • Building strong relationships with director-level economic buyers while developing champions among the analysts, strategy teams, and operational users who rely on the platform.
  • Running structured, consultative discovery to understand customers’ investment strategies, commercial risks, and decision-making processes.
  • Creating multi-threaded sales processes across business stakeholders, procurement, and legal rather than relying on a single internal contact.
  • Qualifying opportunities rigorously, identifying the genuine path to purchase, and being prepared to walk away from deals that lack a compelling reason to progress.
  • Challenging customers constructively, establishing commercial urgency, and maintaining honest, accurate visibility over deal progress and forecast position.
  • Working patiently through long and complex buying processes without allowing opportunities to lose momentum.
  • Collaborating with Marketing, Customer Success, Product, and leadership to turn strong market demand into repeatable enterprise revenue.
  • Contributing directly to the evolving enterprise sales playbook by improving messaging, discovery, qualification, account planning, and opportunity management.
  • Helping define how the business segments and approaches its largest European accounts as it moves towards a more deliberate enterprise sales model.
