Role: Account Executive

Our UK enterprise sales team is expanding, and we seek a seasoned, outcomes-focused Account Executive to lead our net new logo acquisition efforts across the UK market. In this role, you will use disciplined, business-aligned prospecting to strategically pursue new businesses and win net new logos, selling the Snowflake AI Data Cloud to business and technology stakeholders.

  • Own net new logo acquisition across a defined UK territory, building and executing a target prospect list and regional sales plan to consistently land greenfield accounts on the Snowflake AI Data Cloud.
  • Prospect, develop, and close complex new business, articulating the value of Snowflake Cortex AI, Snowpark, and the Data Sharing and Marketplace ecosystem to C-level and technical buyers.
  • Run disciplined discovery calls, facilitate customised demos, and deliver value-driven use cases that solve prospects' business pain points.
  • Be a multi-threaded, trusted advisor by understanding each prospect's business and IT roadmap to drive Snowflake adoption across the organisation.
  • Work intimately with Snowflake partners and service providers in the UK market to accelerate value realisation for net new customers.
  • Achieve quarterly and annual sales quotas by executing an enterprise complex sales strategy grounded in MEDDPICC or a similar methodology.
  • Collaborate across sales leadership, sales engineering, professional services, marketing, legal, and finance to land and expand new accounts.

Requirements

Our ideal Account Executive will have:

  • 5+ years of sales experience with consistent success meeting or exceeding quota, selling technical solutions and SaaS into the enterprise market.
  • Proven experience winning large, complex, net new logos in the UK enterprise market.
  • Demonstrable experience executing enterprise complex sales strategies within one of the following spaces: Public Cloud, Data Warehousing, Business Intelligence, Data Science, or AI/ML.
  • A solution-based approach to selling, with strong command of a complex sales process, excellent presentation and listening skills, and strong organisation and contact management capabilities.
  • The ability to build our brand and company like it is your own, defining and executing sales plans that meet strategic and financial targets by leveraging industry, partner, and Go-to-Market knowledge.
  • The ability to provide open, honest, and respectful feedback that contributes to an inclusive work environment.
