Enterprise Account Executive, DACH

This position is listed on behalf of a partner company, who manages all applications and next steps. Our partner is looking for an Enterprise Account Executive, DACH based in the United Kingdom.

This is an opportunity to join a fast-growing technology team and help enterprise customers across the DACH region unlock greater value from their data.

You will own the sales cycle for complex enterprise SaaS solutions, from pipeline generation and discovery through expansion and growth.

The role combines strategic account development, consultative selling, relationship building, and a strong understanding of customer business needs.

  • You will build pipeline through outbound prospecting while identifying opportunities to land new customers and expand existing relationships.
  • As part of a lean and ambitious team, you will have significant autonomy and be expected to take initiative and move quickly.

You will work remotely from the Netherlands while engaging with enterprise customers and stakeholders across the DACH market.

Accountabilities

  • Own the enterprise sales cycle across the DACH region, from prospecting and pipeline generation through discovery, negotiation, closing, and account expansion.
  • Build and maintain a healthy sales pipeline through strategic outbound activity, account research, relationship development, and targeted prospecting.
  • Identify and pursue new business opportunities within enterprise accounts, using a consultative approach to understand customer challenges and business priorities.
  • Develop land-and-expand strategies that create opportunities to establish new customer relationships and grow existing accounts over time.
  • Conduct effective discovery conversations to uncover customer needs, pain points, technical requirements, business objectives, and potential use cases.
  • Build strong relationships with decision-makers and key stakeholders, communicating the value of data activation and enterprise SaaS solutions clearly and persuasively.
  • Manage complex sales processes and coordinate effectively with internal stakeholders to move opportunities forward.
  • Maintain accurate pipeline information, prioritize opportunities effectively, and adapt sales strategies based on market and customer feedback.
  • Represent the organization professionally in customer meetings and contribute to a high-quality enterprise buying experience.
  • Operate with a high degree of autonomy, taking ownership of targets, activities, customer relationships, and outcomes.
  • Continuously develop your knowledge of enterprise technology, data, marketing technology, and evolving customer needs.

Requirements

  • 4+ years of experience in complex enterprise SaaS sales, with a demonstrated record of achieving strong sales results.
  • Proven experience building pipeline through outbound prospecting and executing land-and-expand strategies within the DACH region.
  • Fluent German language skills are required, alongside excellent written and verbal communication abilities.
  • Based outside Germany within EMEA, with the Netherlands being the location specified for this opportunity.
  • Strong discovery skills and the ability to ask insightful questions, understand complex customer needs, and connect solutions to business outcomes.
  • Excellent interpersonal and relationship-building skills, with confidence engaging enterprise stakeholders and developing trusted customer relationships.
  • Strong commercial judgment, persistence, and ability to manage complex sales cycles.
  • High intellectual curiosity and genuine enthusiasm for technology and emerging data-driven solutions.
  • Entrepreneurial mindset, strong work ethic, ambition, humility, and willingness to take ownership.
  • Self-starter who can operate effectively with significant autonomy in a fast-growing and continuously changing environment.
  • Coachable, adaptable, and receptive to feedback, with a growth-oriented approach to professional development.
  • Experience in MarTech and/or data is considered an advantage.
