About the Role

This position focuses on selling into high-value Enterprise prospects and existing customers with Annual Recurring Revenue (ARR) under $50K. You’ll be pivotal in expanding Twilio’s Communication business across UK/I/Northern Europe. Your role covers:

  • Sourcing new, high-value customers
  • Driving sales from lead qualification to deal closure
  • Managing relationships with enterprise clients

Responsibilities

You’ll be responsible for:

  • Driving new customer acquisition and Average Contract Value (ACV) while maintaining peak customer satisfaction.
  • Mastering pricing proposals, negotiations, and contract management—especially when selling communications solutions to technical and business audiences.
  • Building trust through solution-based selling, consultative approach, and simplifying complex contractual, technical, or financial details.
  • Balancing challenging priorities while handling multiple projects and deals simultaneously.

Requirements

Required Criteria

  • 8+ years of Enterprise Sales experience, with a proven ability to personally sell and close complex solutions to enterprise and software companies.

  • Strong experience in:

    • Identifying, mapping, and prospecting enterprise accounts.
    • Selling complex, technical solutions like cloud communications platforms, APIs, Conversational AI, or enterprise software.
    • Account management, developing large enterprise clients, and exceeding sales targets.
    • Working with Fortune 500 or similarly large enterprises.
    • A quota-driven background, closing high-value deals (six to seven figures).
    • Experience with solution-based or consultative selling.
    • Strong negotiation and contract management, including long sales cycles.
    • Prospecting and lead generation across direct sales, partnerships, and networking.
    • Building and nurturing relationships with C-level executives, decision-makers, and stakeholders.
    • Expertise in presenting to and negotiating with enterprise decision-makers.
    • Comfort working in a dynamic environment.
  • Familiarity with the MEDDPICC sales qualification methodology and other frameworks.

Desired Criteria

  • Experience selling both to business and technical audiences.
  • Knowledge of:
    • CPaaS & Customer Engagement Ecosystem, including:
      • Cloud communications (voice, SMS, chat, video).
      • Contact center agent productivity and Conversational AI.
      • APIs and integrations for communication services.
      • Telecommunications industry dynamics.
    • Enterprise technology architecture and technical needs of large organizations.

Location & Travel

  • Remote role based in UK or Ireland.
  • Minimum 25% travel to foster meaningful in-person connections with customers and your team.
