About Tekst & Our Mission

At Tekst, we just raised $13.5M in Series A funding to rebuild Process Intelligence for the Agentic era. We're building the context layer that allows AI agents to work at scale on the back-office processes that actually matter. With enterprise customers like Daikin, Colruyt, Mitsubishi and Nokia, we are cutting through the AI hype to deliver real, measurable automation.

The Role: Founding Account Executive, UK

We're looking for our first UK-based Account Executive to open up and own the UK market for Tekst. This is a founding sales role: you won't inherit a territory, you'll build one from scratch, establishing our brand, our playbook and our first UK logos.

Your primary objective is to land new logos and drive ARR growth across the UK. This is an individual contributor role: you own and close deals yourself, you don't manage a team. What scales is your territory, your deal size, and eventually your influence over how we go to market across the region.

You'll be working ~6-month sales cycles on deals with an ACV above €50K, engaging multiple stakeholders up to C-level. We're looking for high-performing sales talent with a genuine owner-mindset — someone who wants to shape our UK go-to-market strategy, not just execute someone else's.

Location

This role is remote, based in the United Kingdom, with regular travel to our Ghent HQ to sync with the team and stay closely connected to product, marketing and leadership. You'll operate with a lot of autonomy day-to-day, balanced by a strong feedback loop with the core team in Ghent.

Reasons to use Rodeo

I’m in my final year doing Economics and I don’t know whether to apply for grad schemes now or do a masters first. What do you think?

Honest answer — it depends on where you want to end up. A lot of top grad schemes (Big 4, civil service, banking) don’t need a masters. Let’s look at the ones you’d be competitive for now, and we can decide if a masters actually adds anything.

Also worth knowing: most autumn 2026 applications are open now. Timing matters more than you think.

Start with a chat, not a search bar

Grad scheme, placement, apprenticeship? Not sure what you want yet — that's fine. Your agent talks it through with you and turns "I have no idea" into a shortlist.

Only hits

No noise. No "maybe this fits." Just roles with a clear explanation of why they're right — and where to focus when applying.

What will you be doing?

  • Build the UK market from the ground up: Be the face of Tekst in the UK — establish relationships, build brand awareness, and lay the foundation for a territory that doesn't exist yet.
  • Drive New Business acquisition: Discover and pursue new opportunities through strategic prospecting and relationship building. Collaborate with our BDR team to maintain a healthy pipeline.
  • Own the full sales cycle: Lead complex enterprise sales cycles (~6 months) from prospecting to close, on deals with ACV above €50K, engaging with stakeholders up to C-level.
  • Articulate business value: Deliver compelling, use case-specific demos that prove how Tekst solves real business problems for VP and C-level executives.
  • Apply sales excellence: Use the MEDDIC framework to qualify opportunities, ensure deal velocity, and maintain accurate pipeline forecasting.
  • Partner for success: Collaborate closely with Customer Success and Solutions Engineering to ensure high satisfaction and identify expansion opportunities.
  • Shape our GTM strategy: Feed learnings from the UK market back to the team — you're not just executing a playbook, you're helping write it.

What's in it for you?

  • Competitive base salary + uncapped commission, paid as a % of the ARR you close; the bigger the deal, the bigger your payout.
  • A true founder's opportunity: be the person who puts Tekst on the map in the UK, with the autonomy and visibility that comes with it.
  • Join at a pivotal moment.
  • Top-tier social proof: sell a product already trusted by global giants like Mitsubishi and Nokia.
  • Make an impact: this is an IC growth path — bigger deals, a growing territory, and international scope as we expand further across EMEA.

  • Startup mindset: Comfortable thriving in a fast-paced environment where you'll wear multiple hats and adapt quickly.
  • Pipeline builder: Proven experience building and managing pipeline using relevant technology to maximize deal velocity.
