About Optiml
Optiml is transforming real estate with Real Estate Decision Intelligence (REDI), an AI-powered decision technology that helps decarbonize buildings while optimizing asset and portfolio financial performance.
Our platform helps investors, owners, and asset managers make clearer capital allocation and decarbonisation decisions by translating complex regulatory, financial, and technical constraints into actionable renovation and investment plans.
Founded as an ETH Zurich spin-off, Optiml launched its first product in April 2024 and is now scaling across Europe and the US, with teams based in Zurich, London, and across Germany. The company is backed by leading US and European investors, including Innovation Endeavors (the fund of former Google CEO Eric Schmidt), Planet A Ventures, KOMPAS, BitStone Capital, and The Bau Ventures. Following an oversubscribed €8M Seed round, we are accelerating product development and go-to-market execution.
The opportunity
We are looking for an ambitious Enterprise Account Executive (m/f/d) to build and own Optiml's enterprise pipeline across the UK commercial engine in a high-growth, high-upside role, combining enterprise sales, strategic business development, and category creation.
In this role you will self-originate and close complex, high-value enterprise deals. Opening senior doors, diagnosing the real commercial problem, and steering complex buying committees to a decision from the first conversation to a signed contract.
Buyers are real estate managers, institutional owners, and investors, where trust is earned, cycles are long, and no two deals look the same.
Expect to work directly with founders and senior leaders, feeding what you learn straight into product and pricing, and shaping how the company goes to market.
Reasons to use Rodeo
I’m in my final year doing Economics and I don’t know whether to apply for grad schemes now or do a masters first. What do you think?
Honest answer — it depends on where you want to end up. A lot of top grad schemes (Big 4, civil service, banking) don’t need a masters. Let’s look at the ones you’d be competitive for now, and we can decide if a masters actually adds anything.
Also worth knowing: most autumn 2026 applications are open now. Timing matters more than you think.
Start with a chat, not a search bar
Grad scheme, placement, apprenticeship? Not sure what you want yet — that's fine. Your agent talks it through with you and turns "I have no idea" into a shortlist.

Tasks
What you will own
-
Create the pipeline
- Build qualified enterprise pipeline independently through targeted account selection, outreach, referrals, events, and partner routes
- Lead senior commercial conversations, adapting the narrative by persona, asset type, use case, and maturity
-
Run the full sales cycle
- Own long, complex enterprise sales cycles end-to-end, from discovery through value case to close, converting complex opportunities into ARR
- Run deals with a structured methodology (MEDDPICC or equivalent): qualify early, forecast accurately, and keep CRM, notes, and follow-up sharp
-
Navigate the room
- Build credibility and lasting relationships with senior and C-level decision-makers in a conservative, skeptical buyer landscape
- Map the buying committee, diagnose before pitching, identify champions, and blockers to build urgency and control the deal
-
GTM and category-building
- Sell a category-creating product, translating a technical, ROI-driven solution into a clear business case for buyers who don't yet know they need it
- Position Optiml in the UK market as the category reference point in Real Estate Decision Intelligence (REDI)
- Feed market and buyer insights back into the company to help shape product and go-to-market
Requirements
Must have
- 3-6 years in enterprise sales, strategic business development, consulting, institutional real estate / real estate finance, or complex B2B SaaS
- Experience in an early stage or scale-up environment
- A proven track record of generating enterprise pipeline yourself, not only working inbound, founder-led, or inherited accounts
- Experience owning complex, multi-stakeholder commercial processes with senior and analytical buyers
- Excellent, structured communication, and executive presence: you tailor the message and earn credibility with institutional decision-makers
- A builder's temperament for an early-stage environment: high ownership, high agency, pragmatic, and hands-on
- Strong business English and UK work authorization; able to work in London on a hybrid basis with regular client and event travel

- The opportunity to build the UK commercial engine behind a new category of enterprise AI
- Direct access to founders, Product, Delivery, and sophisticated institutional customers across Europe, with a growing US footprint
