About Optiml

Optiml is transforming real estate with Real Estate Decision Intelligence (REDI), an AI-powered decision technology that helps decarbonize buildings while optimizing asset and portfolio financial performance.

Our platform helps investors, owners, and asset managers make clearer capital allocation and decarbonisation decisions by translating complex regulatory, financial, and technical constraints into actionable renovation and investment plans.

Founded as an ETH Zurich spin-off, Optiml launched its first product in April 2024 and is now scaling across Europe and the US, with teams based in Zurich, London, and across Germany. The company is backed by leading US and European investors, including Innovation Endeavors (the fund of former Google CEO Eric Schmidt), Planet A Ventures, KOMPAS, BitStone Capital, and The Bau Ventures. Following an oversubscribed €8M Seed round, we are accelerating product development and go-to-market execution.

The opportunity

We are looking for an ambitious Enterprise Account Executive to help build Optiml’s UK commercial engine.

This is a high-growth, high-upside role combining enterprise sales, strategic business development and category creation. You will create qualified pipeline, open complex organisations, construct bespoke value cases and close strategic customers.

You will work directly with founders and senior leaders, influence the UK go-to-market model and sell differentiated technology to sophisticated institutional customers. Strong performance can expand your scope into strategic accounts, market, partnerships, vertical or team leadership.

No Real estate domain knowledge required.

Tasks

What you will own

  • Build pipeline and the UK market
    • Build qualified enterprise pipeline through targeted account development, senior outreach, referrals, partnerships, events and your own network.
    • Develop sharp account theses and create senior access without relying on a mature inbound engine.

Reasons to use Rodeo

I’m in my final year doing Economics and I don’t know whether to apply for grad schemes now or do a masters first. What do you think?

Honest answer — it depends on where you want to end up. A lot of top grad schemes (Big 4, civil service, banking) don’t need a masters. Let’s look at the ones you’d be competitive for now, and we can decide if a masters actually adds anything.

Also worth knowing: most autumn 2026 applications are open now. Timing matters more than you think.

Start with a chat, not a search bar

Grad scheme, placement, apprenticeship? Not sure what you want yet — that's fine. Your agent talks it through with you and turns "I have no idea" into a shortlist.

Only hits

No noise. No "maybe this fits." Just roles with a clear explanation of why they're right — and where to focus when applying.

  • Run complex enterprise sales

    • Own discovery, quantified value construction, buying-group alignment, product conversations, procurement, negotiation and close.
  • Help build the category

    • Feed market insight into positioning, pricing, partnerships and product priorities; use AI and agent-based workflows to improve research, preparation, follow-up and pipeline intelligence without outsourcing judgment.

Requirements

Must have

  • 3 years of relevant startup experience, building executive trust and exceptional commercial ownership
  • Evidence having generated 80% of your qualified enterprise pipeline independently—not only manage inbound, founder-led or inherited opportunities.
  • Experience owning complex commercial processes involving senior stakeholders, multiple functions, procurement, negotiation and measurable outcomes.
  • Strong financial curiosity and model literacy; existing institutional real-estate fluency is valuable, but rapid learning and honest diagnosis matter more than pretending to know everything on day one.
  • Strong business English, UK work authorisation and the ability to work in London on a hybrid basis with regular client and event travel.
  • High ownership, sound judgment, low ego and comfort operating in a fast-growing team where the product, category and commercial playbook continue to evolve.
  • You are motivated by measurable performance, meaningful variable compensation and the opportunity to increase scope quickly.

Who is likely to thrive

  • Enterprise SaaS seller: you have personally created pipeline and closed complex, non-standard opportunities—and want sophisticated customers and the chance to shape a category.
  • Consultant turned commercial operator: you want to move from recommendations to ownership, work closer to technology and customers, and be measured and rewarded for creating revenue and visible outcomes.
  • Institutional-market professional: you bring investment, private-equity, asset-management, fund-management, banking or capital-markets credibility plus genuine origination—and want to scale that expertise through technology.

The honest reality

This role offers more ownership—and more variability—than a mature enterprise-sales position. A meaningful share of pipeline will be self-generated, priorities will evolve and the process will not always be standardised. In return, you will have direct influence, founder and specialist access, performance upside and the chance to build commercial assets that scale beyond your own deals.

Benefits

What we offer

  • Competitive base salary plus meaningful performance-based commission; accelerators and uncapped upside will be stated only if confirmed in the final plan.
  • Potential equity / VSOP participation, with details shared transparently during the process.
  • The opportunity to build the UK commercial engine behind a new category of enterprise AI.
  • Direct access to founders, Product, Delivery and sophisticated institutional customers across Europe, with a growing US footprint.
  • Progression based on revenue creation, customer impact and the systems you help build—not tenure.
  • A flexible London hybrid setup, regular customer and event exposure, and a role designed to expand with the company.

How to apply

Please apply with your CV and a short note covering why this role is relevant to you, one enterprise opportunity you personally originated, and how you would create qualified UK pipeline in your first 30 days.
