The Role
Sales
Reporting to the Enterprise Accounts Sales Manager, the Enterprise Account Manager is responsible for driving revenue growth within TalkTalk Business's most prestigious customer base. The goal is to maintain and grow existing revenue streams and acquire new revenue through targeted business activities and promote all products and services in a professional and ethical manner through targeted activity and professional account management.
Responsibilities
As a key member of our sales team, you will be responsible for driving revenue growth, developing strategic customer relationships, and delivering innovative technology solutions that help customers achieve their business objectives.
Key responsibilities include:
- Retain and grow revenue across a defined customer base while identifying and converting new business opportunities through the sale of converged Voice, UCaaS, CCaaS, Data, Infrastructure, and Partner solutions.
- Act as a trusted advisor, recommending technology solutions that support customers' business growth, transformation, and operational objectives.
- Build and maintain strong relationships with customers at all levels, from C-suite executives to operational stakeholders, through a consultative and visionary approach.
- Lead face-to-face meetings, workshops, and strategic reviews to identify opportunities, strengthen partnerships, and deliver value.
- Develop and execute robust account plans, opportunity strategies, and targeted sales campaigns to maximise growth.
- Provide customers with insights and recommendations based on emerging technologies, market trends, and industry developments.
- Collaborate closely with internal stakeholders and operational teams to ensure exceptional customer outcomes and service delivery.
- Attend regular customer service and business review meetings, ensuring any issues are resolved effectively and in a timely manner.
- Consistently achieve and exceed sales and acquisition targets while maintaining a healthy pipeline aligned to conversion goals.
- Deliver accurate sales forecasting within agreed business parameters.
- Apply strong commercial acumen to interpret financial models and develop mutually beneficial customer propositions.
- Effectively manage competing priorities, demonstrating excellent organisation, planning, and time management skills.
- Support, coach, and mentor colleagues, contributing to a collaborative, high-performing, and growth-focused team culture.

We're looking for someone with:
- Strong knowledge of the SDWAN and LAN technologies and Vendors.
- Extensive understanding of the IT channel and wider technology market.
- A proven track record of successfully selling multi-technology solutions.
- Strong relationship-building skills with vendors, distributors, and strategic partners.
- The ability to confidently articulate and position supplier solutions to meet customer needs.
Skills and experience we are looking for
We're looking for a commercially driven sales professional with a strong track record of building customer relationships, identifying growth opportunities, and delivering outstanding business outcomes.
You will bring:
- Proven experience using Salesforce CRM to effectively manage the sales journey, maintain accurate customer records, oversee case management, and develop strategic account plans.
- A strong ability to develop, manage, and grow relationships with key customers, identifying opportunities for account expansion through upselling and cross-selling.
- Demonstrated success in achieving sales targets through effective sales methodologies, account management, and customer retention strategies.
- Excellent communication and presentation skills, with the ability to engage confidently with customers, partners, and internal stakeholders at all levels.
- Strong problem-solving skills, with the ability to identify challenges, assess options, and deliver effective customer-focused solutions.
- Commercially astute negotiation skills with experience securing profitable outcomes and closing complex Enterprise-level opportunities.
- A solid understanding of TTBD's technology portfolio and the ability to clearly articulate the value of solutions to customers and prospects.
- A customer-first mindset, focused on building long-term partnerships, delivering exceptional service, and driving customer loyalty.
- A collaborative approach, working effectively across sales, technical, operational, and support teams to deliver the best possible customer outcomes.
- Strong analytical skills, with the ability to interpret data, identify trends, and provide meaningful commercial insights that support strategic decision-making.

How you will work
At TalkTalk Business we understand the importance of flexibility and connection in the workplace. That’s why we have adopted a hybrid approach to working. Our field based account managers would be expected to attend the office on a regular basis, with exception of when they are in the field, at our HQ in Exchange Quay, Salford.
