The Enterprise Operations Transformation Lead plays a critical role in shaping and delivering Worldpay's operational transformation agenda. Working across Operations, Product and Technology functions, the role is responsible for leading strategic automation and process transformation initiatives that deliver measurable business outcomes, operational efficiency and capacity creation.
Operating with a high degree of autonomy, the role defines workstream strategy, aligns senior stakeholders around priorities, and drives the delivery of complex cross-functional initiatives. The individual acts as a recognised subject matter expert and trusted advisor to leadership teams, influencing decisions that support the broader operational and business strategy.
What you’ll own
Lead Transformation Strategy and Delivery
- Define and lead multi-initiative transformation and automation workstreams across Enterprise Operations.
- Translate strategic objectives into delivery roadmaps, initiatives and measurable business outcomes.
- Identify opportunities to improve operational performance, customer experience and efficiency through process redesign, automation and technology enablement.
- Own the end-to-end lifecycle of transformation initiatives from opportunity assessment and business case development through implementation and benefit realisation.
Drive Cross-Functional Leadership
- Lead cross-functional teams comprising Operations, Product, Technology and partner functions to deliver transformation objectives.
- Coordinate and influence senior stakeholders without direct line management responsibility.
- Build alignment between competing priorities and facilitate decision making on complex business challenges.
- Act as the primary owner and point of accountability for assigned transformation workstreams.
Deliver Business Value
- Create significant operational capacity and efficiency improvements through automation and process optimisation initiatives.
- Establish benefit tracking frameworks and ensure delivery of committed outcomes.
- Analyse operational performance data and leverage insights to drive continuous improvement.
- Ensure transformation initiatives are aligned to divisional objectives and strategic priorities
Influence Senior Leadership
- Partner directly with senior leaders to shape strategic priorities, investment decisions and transformation roadmaps.
- Prepare and deliver executive-level communications, recommendations and business updates.
- Provide thought leadership on operational excellence, automation opportunities and future-state operating models.
- Challenge existing approaches and introduce innovative solutions to complex operational problems.

Provide Functional Expertise
- Serve as a recognised expert within the transformation domain, providing guidance and direction across multiple initiatives.
- Apply deep operational knowledge to support decision-making and risk management.
- Mentor and support colleagues involved in transformation and continuous improvement activities.
- Build and maintain knowledge of emerging technologies, automation capabilities and industry best practices.
End-to-end analytical ownership
- Own analytical initiatives from initial problem framing through to delivery of insight, dashboards and recommendations
- Translate ambiguous or poorly-defined operational challenges into clear analytical approaches and outputs that deliver business impact
- Ensure analysis is tightly aligned to decision-making, operational improvement and measurable business impact
- Manage priorities across multiple workstreams with minimal supervision, escalating risks and dependencies appropriately
Operational insight & improvement
- Partner deeply with Operations teams to understand processes, constraints and performance drivers
- Use data to identify inefficiencies, performance gaps and improvement opportunities across operational workflows
- Design metrics, dashboards and analytical views that support operational performance management and continuous improvement
- Support tracking of outcomes and benefits realisation for operational, AI and transformation initiatives
Stakeholder engagement & influence
- Act as a trusted analytical partner to stakeholders across operational, tactical and executive levels
- Communicate complex analysis clearly through data storytelling, visuals and structured narratives
- Influence decision-making by synthesising insight into clear options, trade-offs and recommendations
- Work effectively with senior stakeholders while maintaining hands-on analytical ownership
Advanced analytics & technical delivery
- Deliver complex analysis using SQL and advanced analytical tools such as Python or R
- Design, build and maintain robust analytical datasets and coherent data models suitable for reporting and advanced analysis
- Build high-quality dashboards and visualisations that support both operational and executive needs, with a focus on supporting the transition from Power BI to Tableau
- Work effectively within cloud-based data platforms and across multiple enterprise data sources
