Are you a university student interested in AI, technology, business and enterprise sales?
HookZ.ai is looking for ambitious students to join our UK team through a structured Enterprise AI & Technology Sales University Placement.
This is an opportunity to gain practical exposure to how emerging technologies are taken to market, positioned to enterprise customers and developed into real business opportunities.
You'll work alongside experienced enterprise technology and sales professionals while building practical skills across B2B sales, business development, digital marketing and LinkedIn social selling.

You'll develop an understanding of how AI, cloud, edge infrastructure and enterprise communications technologies solve real business challenges.
Your Placement Experience
Under the guidance of experienced enterprise technology professionals, you'll gain practical experience across:
- UK B2B and enterprise market research
- Identifying target companies and potential customers
- Mapping CIO, CTO, IT, Digital and business decision-makers
- LinkedIn prospecting and social selling
- Digital and email marketing
- B2B outreach and prospecting techniques
- Supervised cold outreach
- Lead research and qualification
- Customer and partner meeting preparation
- Sales presentations and proposals
- CRM and sales-pipeline fundamentals
- Understanding the enterprise sales lifecycle
- Exposure to real customer and partner conversations

Who We're Looking For
We're looking for ambitious UK university students who want to build experience at the intersection of technology and business.
Technology-related academic backgrounds are particularly welcome, including:
- Computer Science
- Artificial Intelligence
- Information Technology
- Engineering
- Business Technology
- Digital Business
- Technology Management
- Marketing with Technology
Students from other disciplines are also welcome if you can demonstrate a genuine interest in AI, enterprise technology and B2B business development.
You'll Be a Great Fit If You:
- Are genuinely curious about AI and emerging technology
- Want to understand how technology is sold to enterprise customers
- Have an interest in B2B sales or business development
- Are comfortable communicating with new people
- Want to develop confidence in cold outreach and prospecting
- Enjoy LinkedIn, social media and digital marketing
- Have strong written and spoken English
- Are commercially curious and proactive
- Are willing to learn and take initiative
- Have the resilience required to succeed in B2B sales
Previous sales experience is helpful but not essential.
We're looking primarily for potential, curiosity, communication skills and a growth mindset.

We understand that your degree comes first.
There are no fixed daily working hours. The placement is designed to work around university commitments, with participants typically contributing approximately 8–10 flexible hours per week.
Placement activities can be organised flexibly alongside academic commitments, with agreed mentoring and learning sessions.

Eligibility
This opportunity is intended for current students enrolled at a UK university or higher-education institution where the placement forms a required component of their course.
Applicants will be required to obtain confirmation from their university that the placement qualifies as part of their course before commencing.
The placement must take place before completion of the relevant course.
