About the Role

The Enterprise Applications Analyst II is an integral part of Latham’s Technology & Information Services team. This role will be responsible for supporting the design, implementation, and maintenance of the firm’s enterprise software application platforms, which allow attorneys and staff to perform their job functions from the office and remote locations, and support software solutions for all facets of attorney work such as document generation, business development and intake, client billing, etc. This role will be located in our Manchester office. Please note that this role may be eligible for a flexible working schedule that allows for a hybrid and in-office presence.

Responsibilities & Qualifications

Other key responsibilities include:

  • Proposing additional enhancements and new software solutions for the firm’s legal professionals and administrative departments
  • Troubleshooting software problems for firm users as they relate to firmwide, departmentally-driven technology projects
  • Installing, maintaining, and upgrading software for all users within the firm and making recommendations to their manager regarding setting of standards for firm software
  • Producing training materials and delivering training to regional trainers, the Global Technology Support Centre, and to end-users regarding specialized applications
  • Providing additional end-user technical support as needed
  • Supporting the administration, maintenance, and optimization of people / organization software or recruitment software.

We’d love to hear from you if you:

  • Display knowledge and proficiency in the administration and deployment of a wide variety of software programmes, including Microsoft Windows Enterprise, Microsoft Windows Server, and Microsoft Office (Word, PowerPoint, Excel, and Outlook)
  • Demonstrate knowledge and proficiency with administration and maintenance of relational databases used by supported applications
  • Exhibit proficiency with unattended software deployment tools
  • And have:
    • A bachelor’s degree or equivalent in computer science or a related field or appropriate work experience
    • Experience in a software support role
    • Experience providing upper-level support, training, or mentoring for other technology department personnel, preferably
    • Experience with enterprise-class software installations and upgrades, training, and technical documentation, preferably
    • Experience supporting a large, multi-office environment, preferably
