About The Role
The Enterprise Applications Engineer is an integral part of Latham’s Technology & Information Services team. This role will be responsible for leading the design, implementation, and maintenance of the firm’s enterprise software application platforms, which allow attorneys and staff to perform their job functions from the office and remote locations, while designing, implementing, and supporting software solutions and integrations for all facets of attorney’s work such as document generation, business development and intake, and client billing. This role will be located in our Manchester office. Please note that this role may be eligible for a flexible working schedule that allows for a hybrid and in-office presence.
Responsibilities & Qualifications
Other key responsibilities include:
- Identifying and implementing additional enhancements and new software solutions for our legal professionals and administrative departments
- Acting as a Subject Matter Expert across various enterprise applications
- Troubleshooting software problems for firm users as they relate to firmwide, departmentally driven technology projects
- Installing, maintaining, and upgrading software for all users within the firm; making recommendations to their manager regarding setting standards for firm software
- Producing training materials and delivering training to regional trainers, the Global Technology Support Center, and to end-users regarding specialised applications

Requirements
We’d love to hear from you if you:
- Possess full capability and experience in the administration and deployment of a wide variety of software programs, including iManage, Microsoft Windows, M365 apps, other enterprise applications.
- Exhibit knowledge and proficiency with administration and maintenance of relational databases used by enterprise applications
- Display proficiency with unattended software deployment tools
And have:
- A bachelor’s degree or equivalent in Computer Science or related field or appropriate work experience
- Experience in an application or infrastructure support role
- Experience providing upper-level support, training, or mentoring for other technology department personnel
- Experience with enterprise class software installations and upgrades, training, and technical documentation
- Experience supporting a large, multi-office environment, preferably
