Role Overview
The EA Sales Head - UKI will serve as a pivotal leader within Wipro Technologies’ Enterprise Applications division, spearheading sales and business development efforts across the United Kingdom and Ireland region. This role demands a seasoned sales professional adept at driving large-scale complex deals, nurturing client relationships, and collaborating closely with cross-functional teams to deliver transformative IT services and consulting solutions. The position reports within the Technology Services sector and directly contributes to expanding Wipro’s market presence and revenue in a competitive landscape.
Key Responsibilities
- Strategic Sales Initiatives: Devise and execute strategic sales initiatives, leading the entire sales lifecycle from prospect engagement to deal closure.
- Pipeline Management: Manage a robust sales pipeline, employing effective deal qualification techniques and financial analyses to maximize win rates and revenue generation.
- Contract Management: Lead contract drafting and management processes, ensuring clarity, compliance, and alignment with company policies and client expectations.
- Sales Strategy Development: Develop and execute sales strategies aligned with market trends, competitive positioning, and company growth objectives.
- Team Leadership: Mentor and inspire sales teams, fostering a culture of collaboration, continuous improvement, and high performance.
- Client Relationship Management: Utilize design thinking and customer-centric approaches to shape client relationship strategies and business development plans.
- Industry Representation: Represent the company at industry events, conferences, and client forums to enhance brand visibility and network with potential clients.
- Communication and Leadership: Maintain excellent communication and leadership standards, consistently demonstrating responsiveness, stewardship, and trust-building behaviors.
Preferred Qualifications and Experience
- A minimum of 8 years of progressive sales experience in IT Services and Consulting, with a proven record driving multimillion-dollar global deals.
- Educational background in any undergraduate discipline; an MBA or equivalent advanced degree is highly desirable.
- Fluent written and spoken English communication skills with exceptional interpersonal and presentation capabilities.
- Demonstrated expertise in sales enablement methodologies, negotiation skills, pipeline and deal management, and client relationship development.
- Comprehensive knowledge of technology domains including business process outsourcing, cloud computing platforms, application development frameworks, and cybersecurity.
- Experience working within professional services environments offering complex, technology-driven solutions.
- Strong leadership qualities including self-direction, team leadership, networking aptitude, and the ability to inspire others.
- Capability to handle multiple, large-scale sales opportunities with diverse stakeholders across international contexts.
- Familiarity with contract drafting and financial modeling as part of deal structuring and closing processes.
