Sanderson Recruitment are working with a rapidly growing cloud, infrastructure and managed services organisation that is investing heavily in modern technology, automation and large-scale transformation programmes.

They are looking for an experienced Enterprise Architect to take ownership of a major, strategically important customer environment. This is a senior, customer-facing role where you'll provide architectural leadership, guide technology strategy, and act as the key link between technical delivery teams and senior customer stakeholders.

The Role

You'll be responsible for:

  • Owning the architectural relationship for a large enterprise customer
  • Providing technical leadership across infrastructure, platforms and managed services
  • Leading modernisation, transformation and service improvement initiatives
  • Representing your organisation within architecture, design and governance forums
  • Producing and reviewing high and low-level designs
  • Ensuring solutions remain aligned to standards, operational best practice and commercial objectives
  • Working closely with delivery, operations and senior customer stakeholders to drive successful outcomes

What We're Looking For

  • Proven experience as an Enterprise, Solution or Lead Architect
  • Strong infrastructure knowledge across compute, storage, networking, backup and disaster recovery
  • Experience delivering large-scale transition, migration or transformation programmes
  • Ability to engage confidently with senior technical and non-technical stakeholders
  • Experience operating within architecture governance and change management environments
  • Knowledge of cloud, hybrid infrastructure and automation/IaC approaches
  • Strong commercial awareness and a pragmatic approach to decision-making

Nice to Have

  • Experience within managed services, cloud service providers or complex enterprise environments
  • Public sector or regulated industry experience
  • Familiarity with frameworks such as TOGAF, ISO 27001 or similar governance standards
