We're working with a leading PE backed residential real estate services group operating across multiple well known business units, following a period of rapid acquisition and growth.
The business is in a high growth phase and is investing in a governed, group aligned enterprise architecture, closing a recognised capability gap as it moves away from fragmented, locally optimised systems. This is a genuine opportunity to shape architecture at group level across application, integration, data and AI, reporting directly to the CIO.
The Role
We're hiring an Enterprise Architect to define and govern the future state architecture across the application, integration, data and AI landscape.
This is an experienced individual contributor role with broad organisational influence, moving the business from fragmented application integrations towards a governed enterprise architecture that supports scale, acquisition integration and future transformation.

What you'll be doing:
- Defining and maintaining enterprise architecture principles, standards and patterns, and the governance and assurance processes that support them
- Producing current state and target state architecture models, application and integration catalogues and a prioritised roadmap aligned to business strategy
- Defining the enterprise integration architecture, establishing API first and event driven principles and reducing reliance on point to point integration
- Assessing middleware, ESB and iPaaS platforms and defining the future Integration Operating Model
- Defining the enterprise data architecture with the Data team, supporting the Golden Record strategy and data ownership models
- Supporting AI readiness by defining architectural requirements for AI enabled business services
- Acting as trusted advisor to technology, data, product and executive stakeholders, challenging localised solutions that create enterprise technical debt

What we're looking for:
- Extensive architecture experience, including enterprise architecture leadership in a complex, multi brand or multi entity organisation
- Delivery of large scale application integration programmes
- Data architecture and master data management experience
- Architecture governance, assurance and operating model design experience
- Confident executive communicator, able to explain architectural trade offs to non technical and board level audiences
- Strong influencing and stakeholder management across technology, data, product and business functions
