Enterprise Architect
Some people build technology; others shape the future of an entire business through it.
At Aston Martin, we're looking for an experienced Enterprise Architect to play a pivotal role in defining the technology landscape that powers one of the world's most iconic luxury brands.
This is an opportunity to step into a highly influential position where architecture is not viewed as a documentation exercise, but as a critical driver of business transformation, innovation and competitive advantage. You'll help shape how Aston Martin evolves its technology ecosystem, enabling the business to operate with greater agility, intelligence and efficiency as we continue our digital transformation journey.
At Aston Martin, technology is becoming an increasingly powerful enabler of business performance, innovation and transformation. The purpose of this role is to shape and guide the technology architecture that underpins the entire organisation, ensuring our systems, applications, data and platforms work together to support both today's priorities and tomorrow's ambitions.
Role Overview
As Enterprise Architect, you'll act as the bridge between business strategy and technology delivery, helping Aston Martin make informed technology decisions that accelerate transformation, reduce complexity and create long-term value. You'll define the future-state architecture of the organisation, provide direction on key technology investments and ensure our digital landscape evolves in a way that is scalable, efficient and aligned to business goals.
This is a highly visible role where you'll influence strategic initiatives across the business, partnering with senior leaders and delivery teams to turn ambitious ideas into practical, implementable solutions. Rather than focusing solely on governance, you'll play an active role in shaping outcomes, solving complex challenges and ensuring architecture becomes a catalyst for business success.

I’m in my final year doing Economics and I don’t know whether to apply for grad schemes now or do a masters first. What do you think?
Honest answer — it depends on where you want to end up. A lot of top grad schemes (Big 4, civil service, banking) don’t need a masters. Let’s look at the ones you’d be competitive for now, and we can decide if a masters actually adds anything.
Also worth knowing: most autumn 2026 applications are open now. Timing matters more than you think.

Grad scheme, placement, apprenticeship? Not sure what you want yet — that's fine. Your agent talks it through with you and turns "I have no idea" into a shortlist.

What You'll Bring
We're looking for a highly experienced, hands-on Enterprise Architect who thrives on turning strategy into action. You'll already have a proven track record operating within complex organisations, shaping enterprise-wide architecture and delivering meaningful business outcomes. You'll bring expertise across enterprise applications, systems integration, data architecture and cloud technologies, alongside the ability to simplify complex technical topics and influence decisions at every level of the organisation.
Just as importantly, you'll be a strong leader. While this isn't a people management role, you'll be comfortable leading through influence, building consensus across stakeholders, providing architectural direction and guiding teams through transformational change. You'll be someone who combines strategic thinking with pragmatic delivery and isn't afraid to challenge the status quo when a better solution exists.
Success in This Role
Success in this role is measured by outcomes, not documentation. You'll help define future-state architecture, support major transformation programmes, remove barriers to delivery and ensure technology decisions create tangible value for the business. Working closely with senior leaders, programme teams and external partners, you'll have a genuine opportunity to shape the future direction of Aston Martin's technology landscape.
