Role: Enterprise Architect - Digital Engineering
Contract Length: 6 Months (Possible Extension)
Location: Reading - Hybrid
Day Rate: £625 - £635
Key Responsibilities
- Define and maintain enterprise architecture for Virtual Environment Digital Engineering.
- Develop High-Level and Low-Level Designs (HLD/LLD).
- Produce and manage RFIs and RFQs.
- Drive architecture governance, security, compliance, and best practice.
- Collaborate with Product Owners, Delivery Managers, Engineers, and suppliers.
- Support innovation, technology selection, and architecture reuse across programmes.

Requirements
- Active SC Clearance (DV desirable).
- 5+ years' Enterprise Architecture experience.
- Strong Defence, MOD, Defence Digital, or Aerospace background.
- Experience with Digital Engineering, Digital Twins, and Digital Thread concepts.
- Knowledge of TOGAF, ArchiMate, Azure, AWS, or equivalent architecture frameworks.
- Strong stakeholder engagement and governance experience.
- Experience working across the systems engineering lifecycle.

Desirable
- Experience with Synthetic Environments or Flight Simulation.
- Azure certifications.
- Knowledge of CI/CD, DevSecOps, Docker, or Kubernetes.
- Experience with Defence Prime Contractors and system integrators.
