About the Role

We are looking for an experienced, personable and collaborative Enterprise Architect to join our Group IT Enterprise Application Team and help define the future of our global IT estate. Acting as a trusted partner between technology teams and business stakeholders, this person will translate strategic goals into practical, scalable solutions that drive growth and innovation. They’ll combine strategic thinking with hands-on expertise to guide technology decisions, support large-scale transformation initiatives, and ensure our architecture remains resilient, integrated, and aligned to business needs across our international Group.

What you will be doing in this role

  • Consult with stakeholders across the Group to advise on the most effective and sustainable ways of delivering change, leveraging knowledge of the existing estate, target architecture, technology trends and enterprise best practice
  • Maintain the existing Enterprise Repository of information on Applications, Technology and their interrelationships to ensure the Group has a consistent and current view of their IT landscape.
  • Develop the Idealised Architecture target IT model in response to changes in business priorities, commercial pressures and technology opportunities.
  • Provide guidance to implementation teams and business SMEs on successful practices in deploying Enterprise scale solutions, with reference to past experience.
  • Identify architectural risks, technology obsolescence and technical debt, providing recommendations to improve resilience, supportability and business value.

What you will bring to the role

  • Wide experience of on-premise and cloud systems implementation and integration.
  • Familiarity with the Microsoft product ecosystem, and product and technology selection methods
  • Experience of operating Enterprise Repository software and a structured modelling technique (TOGAF, Archimate, etc).
  • Strong interpersonal and communication skills, both written and verbal.
  • Analytical thinker with attention to detail and a proactive approach to problem-solving.
  • Ability to work independently and across time zones with international teams.
  • Ability to understand and incorporate commercial and strategic goals, and align designs and recommendations to these.
