Enterprise Architect – London

£800 - £900 p/d (outside IR35)

3 month initial term

Well-established, highly profitable and rapidly expanding engineering business is seeking an experienced Enterprise Architect to join them on a contract basis. Following a number of recent acquisitions, the organisation has an ambitious growth strategy with plans to acquire 8–10 businesses per year, creating significant demand for a scalable, secure and standardised enterprise technology landscape.

This is a key strategic role within an organisation undergoing major digital transformation, where enterprise architecture will play a critical role in enabling growth, technology standardisation and successful M&A integration.

Reporting to the Group IT Director, you will define and govern the organisation's enterprise architecture, ensuring technology investments align with business strategy, operational requirements and long-term objectives. You'll provide architectural leadership across major initiatives including digital transformation, cloud modernisation, AI adoption, application rationalisation and M&A integration.

Reasons to use Rodeo

I’m in my final year doing Economics and I don’t know whether to apply for grad schemes now or do a masters first. What do you think?

Honest answer — it depends on where you want to end up. A lot of top grad schemes (Big 4, civil service, banking) don’t need a masters. Let’s look at the ones you’d be competitive for now, and we can decide if a masters actually adds anything.

Also worth knowing: most autumn 2026 applications are open now. Timing matters more than you think.

Start with a chat, not a search bar

Grad scheme, placement, apprenticeship? Not sure what you want yet — that's fine. Your agent talks it through with you and turns "I have no idea" into a shortlist.
