Role Overview

We are seeking an experienced and vision-driven Enterprise Architect to define, shape, and drive global technology strategy and architectural roadmaps. In this role, you will bridge the gap between complex business strategy and technical execution, ensuring application, data, digital, and cloud ecosystems are scalable, secure, and aligned with overall business growth.

You will lead the continuous evolution of technology landscape, with a heavy emphasis on enterprise cloud transformations (primarily AWS), application modernisation, and data integration across diverse business divisions.

Location: London, UK (Hybrid)
Travel: Occasional international travel (Dubai, UAE).

Key Responsibilities

Strategic Architectural Vision & Roadmapping

  • Formulate and execute the enterprise-wide target operating model and multi-year technology roadmaps aligned with global corporate strategic objectives.
  • Analyse complex business requirements, market trends, and emerging technologies to make authoritative technology investment and modernization recommendations.
  • Rationalise, standardise, and optimise legacy technical estates to reduce complexity, eliminate technical debt, and lower total cost of ownership (TCO).

Cloud & AWS Technical Governance

  • Lead the architectural design and governance of high-scale cloud platforms, with primary accountability for AWS landing zones, core platform services, multi-cloud strategies, and cloud security patterns.
  • Provide design authority for cloud migrations, microservices adoption, serverless architectures, and API-first integrations across internal and external applications.
  • Partner with DevOps, Cloud Infrastructure, and FinOps teams to ensure workloads are well-architected for high availability, security resilience, cost efficiency, and performance.

I’m in my final year doing Economics and I don’t know whether to apply for grad schemes now or do a masters first. What do you think?

Honest answer — it depends on where you want to end up. A lot of top grad schemes (Big 4, civil service, banking) don’t need a masters. Let’s look at the ones you’d be competitive for now, and we can decide if a masters actually adds anything.

Also worth knowing: most autumn 2026 applications are open now. Timing matters more than you think.

Start with a chat, not a search bar

Grad scheme, placement, apprenticeship? Not sure what you want yet — that's fine. Your agent talks it through with you and turns "I have no idea" into a shortlist.
