Join the Architecture Management team within Airbus Defence and Space. We are looking for a forward-thinking Enterprise Architect to help us bridge the gap between complex operational demands and long-term strategic goals.

In this role, you will be at the heart of our division’s architecture landscape, enabling business and IT leaders to make informed investment decisions. This role will be exercising the Enterprise Architecture discipline including the Operations of our Enterprise Architecture repository in the UK.


HOW YOU WILL CONTRIBUTE TO THE TEAM

In this role, you will help us maintain transparency across our enterprise architecture. You will:

  • Drive data capture and maintenance for all existing information systems within the division’s official enterprise architectural repository, ensuring the highest standards of data quality.
  • Manage the UK instance of our architecture repository, ensuring it aligns seamlessly with our global solution ecosystem.
  • Lead and facilitate complex discussions with business and IT stakeholders to shape our architecture landscape.
  • Participate in strategy development, identifying new opportunities, and building value cases to support business innovation.
  • Provide clear guidance on IT investment allocation through the review of business and technical development initiatives.
  • Ensure that future business capabilities—across infrastructure, applications, and business functions—are fully accounted for in our Enterprise Architecture.

ABOUT YOU

  • Proven experience in Enterprise Architecture, Solution Architecture, or Systems Engineering.
  • The ability to effectively explain complex technical concepts to non-technical stakeholders.
  • Strong interpersonal skills and a track record of communicating and integrating effectively within a transnational team.
  • Demonstrated experience in stakeholder management.
