Enterprise Architect – Contract - London Hybrid

Location

London (Liverpool Street Office, 1-2 days per week)

Duration

6 Months

Role Overview

We are looking for an experienced Enterprise Architect / Practice Lead to join a major transformation initiative. You will take ownership of private cloud, public IaaS/PaaS (AWS and Azure), networking, and digital workplace services, ensuring all transformation strategies and project deliveries comply with best practices and uniform global standards.

This is a high-impact, client-facing role that bridges pre-sales, solutioning, and hands-on technical design. You will lead architectural alignment between regional business stakeholders and the Global Technology organisation.

Key Responsibilities

  • Strategy & Transformation: Define transformation strategies, present to executive steering committees, and establish clear 1-2 year technical visions.
  • Solution Architecture: Architect highly complex solutions across private cloud, public cloud, networking, and digital workplace environments, balancing cost, performance, and scalability.
  • Pre-Sales & Delivery: Assist sales and delivery teams with solution design, effort estimation, costing, and successful execution through Deliverability Assessment Reviews (DA Reviews).
  • Technical Leadership: Provide thought leadership on emerging technologies, mentor junior solution architects, and remain hands-on where required to unblock technical teams.
  • Governance & Standards: Ensure designs adhere to enterprise architecture standards, cloud industry security best practices (CSA & NIST), and published reference architectures.

Reasons to use Rodeo

I’m in my final year doing Economics and I don’t know whether to apply for grad schemes now or do a masters first. What do you think?

Honest answer — it depends on where you want to end up. A lot of top grad schemes (Big 4, civil service, banking) don’t need a masters. Let’s look at the ones you’d be competitive for now, and we can decide if a masters actually adds anything.

Also worth knowing: most autumn 2026 applications are open now. Timing matters more than you think.

Start with a chat, not a search bar

Grad scheme, placement, apprenticeship? Not sure what you want yet — that's fine. Your agent talks it through with you and turns "I have no idea" into a shortlist.
