Enterprise Architect Manager - Security

£96,000 + Benefits | Hybrid | Leeds

An exciting opportunity has arisen for an experienced Enterprise Architect Manager - Security to join a leading organisation as it delivers a secure, resilient and future-ready technology strategy. This is a key leadership role, offering the opportunity to shape enterprise security architecture, influence strategic technology decisions, and lead a high-performing architecture team.

As Enterprise Architect Manager - Security, you'll lead the security architecture capability, ensuring technology solutions are secure, compliant and aligned with wider business, cloud and data strategies. Working closely with senior technology and business leaders, you'll champion security by design while enabling innovation across a complex change portfolio.

The Role

  • Lead the security architecture practice, standards and design patterns across the organisation.
  • Partner with business and technology stakeholders to align target architecture and roadmaps with strategic objectives.
  • Manage and develop a team of Domain and Solution Architects, providing leadership across architectural reviews and technology governance.
  • Own and evolve enterprise-wide security architecture, frameworks and roadmaps.
  • Ensure architectural decisions meet security, risk and regulatory requirements.
  • Chair architecture review boards and provide guidance on secure technology adoption and integration.
  • Coach and mentor architects to deliver high-quality, compliant solutions.
  • Translate strategic security objectives into practical architectural direction.

About You

  • Proven experience as an Enterprise Architect, ideally within financial services or another highly regulated environment.
  • TOGAF certified (or equivalent enterprise architecture qualification).
  • Deep expertise in security architecture, risk management and regulatory compliance.
  • Strong understanding of cloud, infrastructure, application and data security.
  • Excellent stakeholder management skills, with the ability to influence senior leaders and communicate effectively with both technical and non-technical audiences.
  • A collaborative leader with a passion for developing teams and driving architectural best practice.
