Cammach Enterprise Architect Opportunity
Cammach are currently recruiting for an Enterprise Architect on behalf of our client, a leading independent oil & gas company. Based in Aberdeen, this is permanent (staff) opportunity offering the flexibility of a hybrid working arrangement.
ROLE
We are looking for an experienced Enterprise Architect to shape the future of our enterprise technology landscape, ensuring our systems, data and infrastructure enable business growth while maintaining the highest standards of security, resilience and performance.
This is a strategic leadership role with responsibility for defining and delivering the enterprise architecture vision across the organisation. You will develop technology roadmaps, establish architecture standards and provide technical direction that supports both current operations and future ambitions.
Working across business and technology teams, you will use strong communication skills to translate complex technical concepts into practical business outcomes. You will influence decision-making at all levels, ensuring investments align with business priorities and deliver long-term value.

You will lead and develop a team of technical specialists while fostering a culture of learning, continuous improvement and knowledge sharing. Through mentoring and guidance, you will help build capability and strengthen architectural excellence across the organisation.
The role offers significant scope for empowerment and accountability, with responsibility for technical governance, vendor partnerships and architectural assurance across major programmes and business change initiatives. You will balance innovation with pragmatism, ensuring technology decisions support operational integrity and regulatory compliance.

Leadership & Responsibilities
- Define and drive the enterprise architecture strategy, standards and technology roadmap.
- Provide architectural leadership and technical assurance across major business and technology initiatives.
- Lead, develop and inspire a high-performing architecture function.
- Engage and influence senior stakeholders, translating business requirements into effective technology solutions.
- Govern technology risk, resilience, security and architectural compliance across the enterprise.
- Build strong partnerships with suppliers and technology vendors to maximise performance and value.

Requirements
Experience & Qualifications
- Proven experience in an Enterprise Architect or senior architecture leadership role.
- Broad technical expertise across applications, data, integration, cloud and infrastructure environments.
- Strong experience developing technology strategies, roadmaps and governance frameworks.
- Demonstrable people leadership experience, with a focus on coaching and capability development.
- Knowledge of recognised architecture frameworks such as TOGAF, or equivalent experience.
- Excellent stakeholder management skills, with the ability to influence both technical and non-technical audiences.
