Key Responsibilities

Work proactively and holistically lead and support EA activities that guide the development and management of a Major Transformation Programs like S4 Hana and SAP Transformation. Solutions include projects and products, systems (including applications, technologies, processes and information), and shared application services.

  • Works closely with the Tech Business Partners, product owners and product managers to ensure a robust architectural runway that can support future business requirements throughout the technology life cycle
  • Focus on Process re modelling and optimization using tools like SAP Signavio and design Architecture patterns via Enterprise Architecture tools like SAP LeanIX
  • Monitor the current-state SAP solution portfolio to identify deficiencies through aging of the technologies used by the application, or misalignment with business requirements
  • Strong experience in upgrade and transformation of SAP ECC to S4 HANA Roadmap
  • Create deliverables for managing the Convatec’s portfolio of "to be" and "as is" solutions — including systems (applications, processes, information and technology), shared application services and components to enable and drive targeted business outcomes.
  • Work closely with the program management office (PMO) to ensure the execution of plans corresponds with what is being promised throughout the SAP Transformation project or product life cycle
  • Follow the principles, guidelines, standards and solution patterns to ensure solution decisions are aligned with the enterprise's future-state architecture vision
  • Facilitate the evaluation, selection and TCO of software product standards and services, as well as the design of standard and custom software configurations
  • Support product managers in end-of-life product decisions to maintain, refresh or retire services or systems, including applications, technologies, processes and information
  • Responsible for analysis, designing, implementing, and integrating SAP based solutions systems to fit within existing systems infrastructure and security standards.
  • Identify the potential technology innovations and engage with different enterprise business leaders and units and attend to their computing needs and requirements in order to design solutions that achieve business goals while also working within existing and/or legacy systems.
  • Contribute and lead on ensuring Privacy, Security and AI by design.
  • Provide expert guidance to the engineering teams and act as the TDA and Solution Governance for Architecture
  • Evaluation of feasibility and business cases for implementation steps towards target architecture.
  • Ensure adherence to regulations and industry standards while maintaining alignment with regional regulations.
  • Work with system integrators and software technology provider to understand technology & SAP / S4 HANA / SAP BTP / SAP Analytics product roadmap.

Key Requirements

  • Experienced in software engineering /technology design and implementation
  • Solution architecture experience in ERP (SAP S4 HANA preferred) / Finance and manufacturing processes and technologies within Core & S4 HANA ecosystems/ integration tools and patterns (ESB)
  • Excellent understanding of architecture models like C4
  • Experience working in diverse, global multi disciplinary Cross functional architecture & engineering teams
  • Can lead and manage strategically important transformation technology projects
  • Knowledge of business ecosystems, software as a service (SaaS), infrastructure as a service (IaaS), platform as a service (PaaS), SOA, APIs, open data, artificial intelligence (AI), internet of things (IoT) and data analytics.
  • Good understanding of using and leveraging enterprise architecture management tools (e.g LeanIX)
  • Good understanding of strategic and emerging technology trends, and the practical application of existing and emerging technologies to new and evolving business and operating models
  • Excellent knowledge of any development languages like React, JavaScrip node.js,.net, Python, C# etc
  • Good understanding of various database technologies like MySQL, MongoDB and Oracle etc.
  • Understanding of IT standards and controls
  • Proven analytical, planning, organizational and technical and skills
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills
  • Understanding and knowledge of system development life cycle methodologies (such as waterfall, spiral, agile software development, rapid prototyping, incremental, synchronize and stabilize and DevOps)
