Enterprise Architect

Permanent Position

Hybrid from our Wimbledon Office

Are you ready to help shape the future technology landscape across our European markets?

Domestic & General is scaling fast across 12 countries, protecting the appliances that keep households running and reducing waste by extending the life of everyday devices. With an inclusive, people-first culture recognised by Great Place to Work and the Inclusive Employers Standard, we’re now looking for a Enterprise Architect to define architectural strategy, guide investment decisions and drive the long-term transition towards a more unified global technology environment.

About the Role

This is a rare opportunity to shape technology strategy across Domestic & General's Growth Markets business, spanning multiple European countries, stakeholders and technology platforms.

Working closely with senior business, product and engineering leaders, you'll define architectural direction, influence key investment decisions and help drive the transition towards a more unified global technology landscape.

This is a highly autonomous role for someone who enjoys solving complex challenges, operating across diverse markets and balancing long-term strategy with practical delivery. You'll have the opportunity to influence senior decision-makers, shape technology outcomes at scale and leave a lasting impact on a growing international business.

Key Responsibilities

  • Define and evolve technology and architecture roadmaps across multiple European markets
  • Drive modernisation, simplification and platform convergence initiatives
  • Provide architectural leadership for major business and technology investments
  • Influence senior stakeholders across technology, product and business functions
  • Ensure solutions meet security, regulatory and operational resilience requirements
  • Identify opportunities to improve platforms, capabilities and ways of working

Reasons to use Rodeo

I’m in my final year doing Economics and I don’t know whether to apply for grad schemes now or do a masters first. What do you think?

Honest answer — it depends on where you want to end up. A lot of top grad schemes (Big 4, civil service, banking) don’t need a masters. Let’s look at the ones you’d be competitive for now, and we can decide if a masters actually adds anything.

Also worth knowing: most autumn 2026 applications are open now. Timing matters more than you think.

Start with a chat, not a search bar

Grad scheme, placement, apprenticeship? Not sure what you want yet — that's fine. Your agent talks it through with you and turns "I have no idea" into a shortlist.

Equally important, you stay close enough to the technology to challenge assumptions, validate ideas and help teams make better decisions.

You'll bring

  • Experience delivering large-scale architecture or technology transformation
  • Strong stakeholder management and influencing skills
  • Experience working in regulated industries such as financial services, insurance or similar environments
  • Knowledge of operational resilience and regulatory frameworks such as DORA
