The KBR team of teams delivers future-forward science, technology and engineering solutions and mission-critical services that help governments and companies around the world accomplish their most important objectives, while also helping achieve their sustainability goals.
Role Summary
We are seeking an experienced Enterprise Architect to help shape and develop complex, business-critical solutions within a high-assurance environment. In this role, you will provide architectural leadership across a multi-disciplinary programme, translating evolving requirements into a coherent, end-to-end solution that aligns people, processes, technology, and operational delivery. You will work closely with senior stakeholders and subject matter experts to ensure all elements of the solution integrate effectively and support strategic objectives.
Key Responsibilities
- Lead the development and maintenance of enterprise architecture artefacts, ensuring complex requirements, assumptions, dependencies, and design decisions are translated into a clear and deliverable solution architecture.
- Working across multiple functions, align operational, technical, digital, commercial, and supply chain elements to create a cohesive operating model and delivery framework.
- Identify and resolve gaps, overlaps, and dependencies across the developing solution, establish architecture principles and standards, and support the assessment of key design decisions.
- Produce architecture models, diagrams, and governance artefacts, while providing challenge and assurance that proposed solutions are practical, scalable, and achievable.

I’m in my final year doing Economics and I don’t know whether to apply for grad schemes now or do a masters first. What do you think?
Honest answer — it depends on where you want to end up. A lot of top grad schemes (Big 4, civil service, banking) don’t need a masters. Let’s look at the ones you’d be competitive for now, and we can decide if a masters actually adds anything.
Also worth knowing: most autumn 2026 applications are open now. Timing matters more than you think.
