Job Title: Enterprise Architect

Day Rate:

£500-550/day (OUTSIDE IR35)

Location:

Hybrid in London

Contract Length:

6 months (extendable)

Enterprise Architect - Role & Responsibilities

  • Lead end-to-end solution architecture across enterprise business systems, ensuring alignment with target architecture, governance standards and long-term platform strategy.
  • Produce and review solution designs, integrations and architecture documentation while participating in Architecture Board and Design Authority reviews.
  • Drive modernisation initiatives across Lead-to-Cash (L2C), AI Ops and service operations through API-first, cloud-native and event-driven architecture patterns.
  • Work closely with business, engineering and platform teams to define scalable, secure and resilient solutions while reducing technical debt and improving operational efficiency.
  • Champion enterprise architecture best practice, mentoring technical teams and ensuring architectural consistency across multiple programmes and technology platforms.

Enterprise Architect - Required Experience

  • 8+ years' experience as a Solution Architect or Enterprise Architect delivering complex enterprise transformation programmes.
  • Strong background in architecture governance, design assurance, Architecture Boards or Design Authority within large enterprise environments.
  • Experience designing enterprise integrations using APIs, microservices, event-driven architecture and technologies such as Kafka, REST or GraphQL.
  • Knowledge of service operations platforms including ServiceNow (ITSM/ITOM/AIOps), observability, Service Assurance, Inventory Management or related operational technologies.
  • Experience delivering cloud transformation across AWS, Azure or GCP, with excellent stakeholder management skills and the ability to work across business, product and engineering teams.
