Enterprise Data & AI Program Director
We’re looking for an Enterprise Data & AI Program Director to join our team in London, UK in a hybrid working mode. In this senior leadership role, you will define the strategic direction for EPAM’s most complex data and AI programs, ensuring programs deliver measurable business value.
You will serve as the senior point of contact for our clients on strategy, governance and outcomes, partnering with delivery managers and technical leaders to align execution with business objectives. This position does not involve hands-on design or day-to-day delivery management; instead, it focuses on strategy, relationship management and safeguarding the long-term success of programs through robust governance and commercial alignment.
Responsibilities
- Define and maintain the strategic roadmap for large-scale data and AI programs, ensuring delivery aligns to business priorities and value realization
- Act as a senior escalation and decision-making point on program health, risk and outcomes for executive stakeholders
- Oversee governance frameworks that embed data protection, ethical AI practices and regulatory compliance in program execution
- Review technical strategies from a risk and value perspective, ensuring feasibility without leading detailed solution design
- Define measurable success metrics that reflect client business objectives, beyond traditional delivery milestones
- Shape commercial terms, scope and delivery models for large engagements, ensuring appropriate risk management and margins
- Build and foster trusted relationships with executive-level client stakeholders and represent programs in governance forums
- Mentor delivery managers and program leads acting as a senior advisor while leaving operational ownership with their teams
- Contribute to business development activities by supporting bid strategy, shaping deals and aligning client needs with EPAM capabilities

I’m in my final year doing Economics and I don’t know whether to apply for grad schemes now or do a masters first. What do you think?
Honest answer — it depends on where you want to end up. A lot of top grad schemes (Big 4, civil service, banking) don’t need a masters. Let’s look at the ones you’d be competitive for now, and we can decide if a masters actually adds anything.
Also worth knowing: most autumn 2026 applications are open now. Timing matters more than you think.

Grad scheme, placement, apprenticeship? Not sure what you want yet — that's fine. Your agent talks it through with you and turns "I have no idea" into a shortlist.
