Job Title: Enterprise Data Analytics Lead
Our customer, located in Rochester, NY, is seeking an Enterprise Data Analytics Lead for a 6-month contract which will then convert to a full-time employee. This role requires someone to work onsite 5 days a week and candidates must also work on a W2 basis. 1099 and Corp to Corp cannot be considered for this role.
Responsibilities
- Governance, Integrity, Quality, and Lifecycle Management: Responsible for the governance, integrity, quality, and lifecycle management of the organization’s master data across key domains.
- Establish Data Standards: Establishes data standards, policies, and controls to ensure accuracy, consistency, security, and compliance across enterprise systems.
- Cross-Functional Partnership: Partners cross-functionally with IT, Finance, Operations, HR, Compliance, and executive leadership to ensure that master data and foundational datasets support operational efficiency, trusted reporting and analytics, regulatory compliance, and strategic decision-making.
- Evolving Role: This role is expected to evolve over time and may assume people-management responsibilities as the enterprise data and analytics function matures.
Skills and Competencies
- Knowledge:
- Data governance frameworks (e.g., DAMA-DMBOK)
- Experience:
- MDM platforms and data quality tools
- Advanced Excel and familiarity with SQL or BI tools preferred
- Understanding of system integrations and data architecture concepts
- Skills:
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
- Excellent communication and stakeholder management abilities
- Detail-oriented with a strong process mindset
- Ability to influence without direct authority
- Strong project management skills
Education and Experience
- Education:
- Bachelor’s degree in Information Systems, Business Administration, Data Management, Finance, or related field.
- Experience:
- 5–8+ years of experience in data governance, master data management, analytics enablement, ERP/CRM systems, or related roles.
- Experience with data quality tools and/or structured MDM processes (platform experience a plus).
- Strong understanding of enterprise systems (ERP, CRM, HRIS, etc.).
- Experience working in regulated or audit-driven environments preferred.

Preferred Qualifications
- Experience building or formalizing a data governance program.
- Experience with donor management, fundraising, nonprofit, healthcare, or membership-based organizations.
- Power BI experience.
- SQL experience and understanding of relational databases.
- Experience supporting enterprise system implementations or data migrations.
- Familiarity with Microsoft-based data and reporting technologies.
- Knowledge of Master Data Management (MDM) concepts and best practices.

Pay and Benefits
- Pay Range: $30.00 - $43.00/hr.
