About Us

We’re Civica and we make software that helps deliver critical services for citizens all around the world. From local to state government, to education, to health and care, over 5,000 public bodies across the globe use our software to help provide critical services to more than 100 million citizens.

Our aspiration is to be a GovTech champion everywhere we work around the globe, supporting the needs of citizens and those that serve them every day. Building on 21 years of continuous growth and success, we're at a pivotal point on our journey to realise that aspiration.

Why You'll Love This Role

We're looking for an experienced Enterprise Data Architect to play a pivotal role in one of the most significant transformation programmes within Civica.

This is a rare opportunity to take ownership of Civica's enterprise data architecture as we modernise our technology landscape and build the foundation for future growth, analytics, automation, and AI enablement. You'll help shape how data flows across the organisation, supporting major business transformation initiatives while establishing the standards, governance, and architectural principles that will underpin our future state.

Working closely with senior business leaders, technology teams, and strategic partners including Salesforce, NetSuite, Certinia and PWC, you'll have the opportunity to influence decisions at the highest level while remaining hands-on in delivering practical outcomes. This role offers genuine ownership, visibility, and the ability to leave a lasting impact across a global organisation.

Key Responsibilities

  • Own and develop Civica's enterprise data and integration architecture strategy
  • Document and define current-state and future-state data architecture across the organisation
  • Design scalable data models, integration patterns, and migration strategies that support business transformation
  • Provide architectural leadership across major programmes including ERP, professional services automation, integration, and data transformation initiatives
  • Provide expert advice and guidance on data governance standards, quality controls, and master data management approaches
  • Support large-scale data migration activities
  • Define transition states from legacy to target architectures
  • Work closely with internal stakeholders and external partners to ensure architectural alignment and successful delivery
  • Translate complex technical concepts into clear business language for executive and non-technical audiences
  • Provide oversight and guidance on data security, compliance, and regulatory requirements
  • Act as the subject matter authority for enterprise data architecture across central functions

Reasons to use Rodeo

I’m in my final year doing Economics and I don’t know whether to apply for grad schemes now or do a masters first. What do you think?

Honest answer — it depends on where you want to end up. A lot of top grad schemes (Big 4, civil service, banking) don’t need a masters. Let’s look at the ones you’d be competitive for now, and we can decide if a masters actually adds anything.

Also worth knowing: most autumn 2026 applications are open now. Timing matters more than you think.

Start with a chat, not a search bar

Grad scheme, placement, apprenticeship? Not sure what you want yet — that's fine. Your agent talks it through with you and turns "I have no idea" into a shortlist.
