Are you an experienced Enterprise Data Programme Manager with a proven track record of delivering large-scale data transformation programmes and experience of working within the Life & Pensions sector or general insurance?
We are seeking a highly capable and commercially minded programme leader to join a major organisation undergoing significant data and technology transformation. This is a high-profile opportunity to lead a complex portfolio of enterprise data initiatives that will shape future data capabilities, governance frameworks, analytics platforms, and business intelligence solutions across the organisation.
This role sits at the intersection of business strategy and technology delivery, requiring someone who can confidently engage with senior stakeholders, drive programme execution, and deliver meaningful business outcomes through modern data solutions.
The Opportunity
As Enterprise Data Programme Manager, you will take ownership of a strategically important data transformation portfolio, ensuring programmes are delivered on time, within budget, and aligned to organisational objectives.

Working across business, technology, operational and third-party teams, you will oversee multiple interconnected projects covering data platforms, governance, analytics, reporting, cloud transformation, and data quality initiatives.
This role offers significant autonomy and visibility, with regular engagement at senior leadership and executive level.
Key Responsibilities
Programme Leadership
- Lead the planning, execution and delivery of a large-scale enterprise data programme
- Develop and manage programme roadmaps, milestones, resource plans and budgets
- Ensure alignment between programme outcomes, business priorities and customer needs
- Drive delivery across multiple workstreams and cross-functional teams
Data Transformation
- Oversee implementation of modern enterprise data platforms
- Lead data quality improvement initiatives across the organisation
- Establish and embed robust data governance frameworks
- Deliver enterprise-wide MI, BI and reporting capabilities
- Support cloud-based data and analytics transformation initiatives
Stakeholder & Supplier Management
- Build strong relationships with senior business and technology stakeholders
- Act as the primary point of contact for programme delivery matters
- Manage third-party suppliers and delivery partners

What We're Looking For
We're interested in speaking with experienced programme leaders who can demonstrate:
- β Extensive experience delivering complex enterprise data transformation programmes
- β Experience of working within the Pensions (L&P) niche or insurance
- β Strong understanding of modern data platforms and data architectures
- β Experience implementing Business Intelligence and Reporting solutions
- β Proven delivery of data, analytics, digital or technology transformation initiatives
- β Strong knowledge of Data Governance and Data Management frameworks
- β Experience leading cloud transformation projects (AWS and/or Azure)
- β Exceptional stakeholder management skills, including Executive and Board-level engagement
- β Experience managing external suppliers and large, cross-functional delivery teams
- β Strong programme management expertise within complex and evolving environments
