Enterprise Services
Enterprise Services comprises of multiple business platforms including Client Services, Global Business Operations, Business Architecture, Data Strategy and Analytics, and Digital Services, which report into the Chief of Enterprise Services. These grouped platforms enable the business to optimize delivery for clients, generate efficiencies and resilience, and enable consistency in the business digitization strategy, processes and end-to-end best practices.

The Impact you will have in this role
The Director will provide strategic leadership for audit governance, control oversight, and enterprise reporting across Enterprise Services. The role will establish governance direction, set expectations for business ownership and accountability, and facilitate the timely remediation of audit findings, management actions, and material risks. The Director will achieve outcomes by building trusted relationships, shaping decisions, and mobilizing the broader ESGR team and Enterprise Services stakeholders around shared priorities. As a trusted advisor to senior leadership, the Director will deliver executive-level dashboards and insights on organizational health, including audit and issue trends, control effectiveness, risk exposure, operational performance, and remediation progress. Through constructive challenge, persuasive communication, and strong cross-functional partnerships, the Director will promote accountability, strengthen the Enterprise Services control environment, and advance operational resilience and regulatory readiness.
Your Primary Responsibilities
- Lead and continuously enhance the Enterprise Services Audit Governance Framework, setting strategic direction and ensuring disciplined execution across the audit lifecycle, governance standards, executive reporting, escalation, and stakeholder engagement.
- Partner with business owners and relevant governance functions to support effective oversight of key service providers, including performance, risk, issue management, reporting, and escalation.
- Provide senior-level oversight of the Enterprise Services risk and control governance framework, ensuring that standards, procedures, and accountability mechanisms are consistently applied, appropriately evidenced, and aligned with corporate, regulatory, and risk appetite expectations.
- Direct audit governance activities affecting Enterprise Services, including internal and external audits, regulatory examinations, compliance reviews, and other assurance engagements, while ensuring coordinated responses, clear ownership, and effective executive escalation.
- Oversee the Enterprise Services portfolio of audit findings, issues, and management actions; convene accountable stakeholders; constructively challenge remediation strategies and status reporting; facilitate the removal of barriers; and influence sustainable, timely closure.
- Partner with the Risk and Control Director to align risk and audit priorities and support audit and remediation activities, ensuring that standards, procedures, and accountability mechanisms are consistently applied, appropriately evidenced, and aligned with corporate, regulatory, and risk appetite expectations.

- Define and deliver an executive reporting strategy for Enterprise Services organizational health, using clear metrics, thresholds, trends, and forward-looking insights to focus leadership attention, enable informed dialogue, and align stakeholders on operational activity and resilience, issue remediation, control effectiveness, risk exposure, and strategic priorities requiring senior management sponsorship.
- Lead the transformation of processes, automation, and data quality to strengthen governance discipline, improve the timeliness and reliability of management information, and increase transparency and efficiency across Enterprise Services.
NOTE: The primary responsibilities of this role are not limited to the details above.
Qualifications
- 10+ years of experience in operational risk, audit, controls, or governance. A bachelor’s degree or equivalent professional experience is preferred; a relevant certification is beneficial.
- Proven ability to deliver audit strategy, lead governance frameworks, advise senior management, and drive measurable cross-functional change.
- Strong knowledge of risk and control assessment, risk appetite, issue management, reporting, regulatory engagement, and sustainable remediation.

- Demonstrated leadership in designing, implementing, and sustaining enterprise governance frameworks, with the ability to translate strategy into clear standards, decision rights, oversight routines, and measurable accountability.
- Deep expertise in audit governance, operational risk, and controls, with the judgment and credibility to assess complex issues, constructively challenge remediation plans, and influence sustainable risk reduction.
- Executive presence and exceptional communication skills, with the ability to establish credibility, adapt messages for different audiences, navigate competing perspectives, and influence senior stakeholders toward aligned decisions and action.
- Advanced analytical capability, including the ability to define organizational health indicators, interpret trends and risk signals, and convert data into concise executive insights, decisions, and actions.
- Proven ability to lead through influence in an individual-contributor capacity, bringing together the broader ESGR team and Enterprise Services stakeholders, creating shared ownership, resolving obstacles, and sustaining momentum against complex governance commitments.
- High attention to detail, sound judgment, and integrity, with a commitment to quality, accuracy, and ethical decision-making.
- Highly collaborative and adaptable leadership style, with the ability to create productive partnerships, draw on the expertise of others, foster open dialogue, and coordinate delivery across teams in a dynamic environment.
- Digital and AI mindset, with an interest in leveraging emerging technologies, automation, and data-driven solutions to enhance governance, reporting, and operational effectiveness.
