A leading Independent IT Infrastructure and Services Consultancy are looking for an experienced Enterprise Migration Lead to support a global banking client undertaking a significant enterprise transformation programme to drive delivery across a complex infrastructure and application modernisation initiative.

Large-Scale Infrastructure Transformation Programme

Contract | UK Based | Hybrid

This is a highly visible leadership role focused on accelerating migration delivery, removing blockers, influencing decision-making, and driving successful outcomes across a large-scale enterprise technology environment. The successful candidate will operate at the intersection of technology, delivery, and stakeholder management, working closely with engineering teams, architects, programme leadership and senior stakeholders to ensure progress is maintained across multiple migration workstreams. Someone comfortable navigating complex enterprise organisations, challenging assumptions, influencing senior stakeholders, and driving actions through to completion.

This is not a traditional architecture or engineering role, whilst a strong technical background is essential, success in this position will be driven by your ability to bring teams together, challenge constructively, remove obstacles and maintain momentum across a complex transformation programme.

Key Responsibilities

  • Support the successful delivery of a large-scale VMware offboarding and infrastructure transformation programme.
  • Lead and accelerate enterprise-wide migration and transformation activities.
  • Identify, escalate, and remove technical and organisational delivery blockers.
  • Drive collaboration across architecture, engineering, infrastructure, application and programme teams.
  • Influence and challenge technical decision-making to maintain delivery momentum whilst balancing risk appropriately.
  • Act as a trusted advisor to senior technical leaders, programme sponsors and executive stakeholders.
  • Coordinate complex dependencies across multiple technology domains and workstreams.
  • Drive accountability and ownership across technical teams.
  • Navigate ambiguity and resolve issues outside of standard governance and delivery processes where appropriate.
  • Ensure migration outcomes align with governance, risk, and strategic objectives.
  • Provide clear progress updates, recommendations, and escalation paths to leadership audiences.
  • Build trusted relationships with senior stakeholders and establish credibility quickly across technical and business communities.

Reasons to use Rodeo

I’m in my final year doing Economics and I don’t know whether to apply for grad schemes now or do a masters first. What do you think?

Honest answer — it depends on where you want to end up. A lot of top grad schemes (Big 4, civil service, banking) don’t need a masters. Let’s look at the ones you’d be competitive for now, and we can decide if a masters actually adds anything.

Also worth knowing: most autumn 2026 applications are open now. Timing matters more than you think.

Start with a chat, not a search bar

Grad scheme, placement, apprenticeship? Not sure what you want yet — that's fine. Your agent talks it through with you and turns "I have no idea" into a shortlist.
