Enterprise Platform Lead
A growing organisation is seeking an Enterprise Platform Lead to take ownership of the implementation, optimisation, and ongoing evolution of its enterprise technology landscape.
This is a newly created role, offering the opportunity to shape how core business platforms support the organisation's future growth. Working closely with an established Enterprise Architect and reporting directly to the Director of Technology, you will focus on delivering platform initiatives, leading system improvements, and driving adoption across business functions including HR, Finance, Procurement, Sales, and other corporate services.
Operating within a collaborative technology team of approximately 20 people, you will lead a small team while partnering with stakeholders across the business to deliver scalable, integrated, and user-focused technology solutions.
Key Responsibilities
- Lead the delivery, enhancement, and continuous improvement of enterprise platforms across multiple business functions.
- Drive implementation and rollout activities for enterprise applications and ERP solutions.
- Manage and develop a small team, providing leadership, coaching, and direction.
- Partner with business leaders to understand challenges, identify opportunities, and deliver technology solutions that improve operational effectiveness.
- Work closely with architecture teams to ensure successful execution of technology roadmaps and platform strategies.
- Lead cross functional initiatives involving technology teams, business stakeholders, and third party suppliers.
- Improve system integration, automation, and end user experience across the enterprise technology landscape.
- Manage platform operations, service improvements, and ongoing optimisation activities.
- Support business change initiatives and champion technology adoption across the organisation.
- Drive a customer focused mindset within the team, improving service quality and stakeholder engagement.
- Manage incidents and critical issues with a structured, calm, and solutions focused approach.

Requirements
- Previous experience leading technology teams, with a minimum of 2 years people management experience.
- Experience performing a similar role within at least two different organisations.
- Strong ERP implementation and ongoing platform management experience.
- Broad enterprise systems experience across multiple functions such as HR, Finance, Procurement, Sales, or other business applications.
- Experience delivering technology change and transformation initiatives within UK based organisations.
- Strong understanding of enterprise applications, integrations, and business processes.
- Proven experience managing stakeholders across multiple levels of an organisation.
- Ability to work effectively in a fast paced and evolving environment.

- Calm and decisive during critical incidents, with the ability to communicate clearly and execute structured action plans.
- Collaborative leader with a customer service mindset and a focus on delivering measurable business value.
