About The Role
Markets Operations Platforms brings together critical products and shared capabilities across Agency Lending and wider Markets Operations, spanning platforms, data, workflows and engineering teams.
As Enterprise Product Manager, you will set direction across this portfolio, connect workstreams and focus teams on measurable outcomes. Working across Operations, Design, Engineering, Architecture, Delivery and application owners, you will create the shared context needed to solve the right problems and build solutions that can evolve.
What you’ll do
Understand users and set direction
- Build a deep understanding of Operations users, workflows, pain points and information needs through engagement, observation, data and feedback.
- Turn priority opportunities into clear, testable problems, then define a compelling portfolio vision, measurable outcomes and an enduring product strategy.
Lead discovery and prioritisation
- Lead continuous discovery with Operations, Design, Architecture and Engineering, testing value, usability, feasibility and viability.
- Make evidence-led trade-offs across user impact, strategic fit, dependencies, cost and time-to-value, using focused increments to accelerate learning.
Align the portfolio and empower teams
- Maintain the end-to-end view across journeys, platforms, data and integrations, resolving gaps, overlaps, dependencies and competing assumptions.
- Give empowered teams clear outcomes and guardrails while clarifying decision rights across enterprise product management, product owners, application owners, architects and delivery leads.
Measure and improve
- Define measures for adoption, journey performance, service quality, efficiency and target-state progress.
- Use telemetry, user feedback and operational evidence to evaluate releases, refine priorities and drive continuous improvement.

I’m in my final year doing Economics and I don’t know whether to apply for grad schemes now or do a masters first. What do you think?
Honest answer — it depends on where you want to end up. A lot of top grad schemes (Big 4, civil service, banking) don’t need a masters. Let’s look at the ones you’d be competitive for now, and we can decide if a masters actually adds anything.
Also worth knowing: most autumn 2026 applications are open now. Timing matters more than you think.

Grad scheme, placement, apprenticeship? Not sure what you want yet — that's fine. Your agent talks it through with you and turns "I have no idea" into a shortlist.
