As a Public Relations Senior Specialist, you will play a critical role in elevating Baker Hughes’ brand reputation, strengthening executive visibility, and driving strategic communications across global markets. You will develop integrated PR strategies, manage multi‑channel communication programs, and craft compelling narratives that position Baker Hughes as a leader in energy technology and innovation.
You will collaborate closely with product marketing, content, demand generation, and enterprise leaders to ensure PR initiatives reinforce broader marketing priorities and business objectives. Your work will help shape how customers, media, partners, and stakeholders perceive Baker Hughes’ impact on the energy transition and industrial innovation.
In this role, you will be:
- Developing comprehensive PR strategies and communication plans aligned with enterprise priorities
- Coordinating and managing multiple communication projects, campaigns, and events from inception to completion
- Implementing PR plans for enterprise products, services, and major corporate milestones
- Partnering with enterprise leaders to build executive visibility through bylines, speaking engagements, and interviews
- Managing external PR agencies and mentoring internal team members to ensure high‑quality execution
- Collaborating with product marketing, content, and demand generation teams to align PR with broader marketing initiatives
- Crafting compelling stories, press releases, pitches, and content that translate complex technology into business‑relevant messaging

As a Public Relations Senior Specialist, you will be responsible for:
Public Relations Strategy & Planning
- Developing integrated PR strategies and plans that identify target audiences, key messages, and communication channels.
- Building proactive media engagement strategies that elevate Baker Hughes’ leadership and innovation narrative.
- Aligning PR plans with enterprise marketing priorities, product launches, and corporate milestones.
Campaign & Program Execution
- Managing end‑to‑end execution of PR campaigns, media programs, and communication initiatives.
- Coordinating cross‑functional inputs to ensure timely delivery of high‑quality PR assets and content.
- Supporting global and regional PR activation, ensuring consistency across markets.
Executive Visibility & Thought Leadership
- Partnering with enterprise leaders to build personal brands through bylined articles, keynote opportunities, and interviews.
- Developing thought leadership content that positions executives as credible voices in energy, technology, and sustainability.
Media Relations & Storytelling
- Crafting compelling press releases, pitches, media statements, and storytelling assets.
- Translating complex technologies and innovations into clear, business‑relevant narratives.
- Pitching and secure coverage in tier‑one, trade, and industry media outlets.
Cross‑Functional Collaboration
- Working closely with product marketing, content, demand generation, and brand teams to ensure PR alignment with broader marketing initiatives.
- Partnering with legal, compliance, and business stakeholders to ensure accuracy and approvals.
- Managing external PR agencies to ensure quality, alignment, and performance.
To be successful in this role you will:
- Have a Bachelor’s degree in Public Relations, Journalism, Communications, or a related field.
- Have 8–10 years of experience in PR, corporate communications, or agency environments.
- Have demonstrate strong ability to build stakeholder relationships and facilitate cross‑functional collaboration.
- Have bring experience developing key messages and ensuring alignment with brand and strategic priorities.
- Have a proven track record of pitching and placing stories in tier‑one and trade media, including paid and sponsored media campaigns.
- Have possess exceptional writing, editing, and storytelling skills.
- Have to thrive in a fast‑paced environment with the ability to solve complex problems and meet deadlines.
