Role Overview
The Epicor ERP Business Analyst is responsible for supporting the implementation, enhancement, and optimisation of the Epicor ERP/Kinetic platform across the organisation. The role acts as the key liaison between business stakeholders and technical teams, ensuring business requirements are accurately captured, documented, and translated into effective ERP solutions.
The successful candidate will possess strong business process knowledge, ERP implementation experience, and the ability to support operational transformation across manufacturing, distribution, or supply chain environments.
Key Responsibilities
Business Analysis & Requirements Gathering
- Conduct workshops and stakeholder interviews to gather business requirements
- Analyse existing business processes and identify areas for improvement
- Produce functional specifications, process maps, and business requirement documents
- Translate operational requirements into ERP system solutions
- Support gap analysis between current and future state processes

ERP Implementation & Support
- Support Epicor ERP/Kinetic implementation and enhancement projects
- Assist with system configuration and module optimisation
- Coordinate User Acceptance Testing (UAT) activities
- Support data migration, validation, and cleansing exercises
- Work with third-party vendors, consultants, and development teams
- Assist with issue resolution and system troubleshooting
Stakeholder Management
- Engage with department managers and end users across the business
- Provide regular updates to project stakeholders
- Facilitate workshops, training sessions, and process reviews
- Promote user adoption and change management initiatives
Documentation & Reporting
- Maintain project documentation and functional design specifications
- Create user guides and training materials
- Develop reports, dashboards, and KPI tracking requirements
- Ensure process and system documentation remains up to date

Essential
- Proven experience as an ERP Business Analyst
- Strong experience with Epicor ERP or Epicor Kinetic
- Experience within manufacturing, engineering, or distribution environments
- Strong business process mapping and requirements gathering skills
- Knowledge of ERP modules including Finance, Supply Chain, Manufacturing, and Inventory
- Experience supporting ERP implementation or transformation programmes
- Strong stakeholder engagement and communication skills
- Experience coordinating UAT and training activities
Desirable
- SQL reporting knowledge
- Experience with BA tools and methodologies
- Knowledge of Agile and Waterfall delivery frameworks
- Experience with integrations, APIs, or BI reporting tools
- Prince2, Agile BA, or related certifications
Technical Knowledge
- Epicor ERP / Epicor Kinetic
- ERP workflows and business processes
- SQL and reporting tools
- Microsoft Office suite
- Business process mapping tools
- Data migration and validation processes
