Functional Project Manager, ERP Transformation
Edinburgh, hybrid, 2 days onsite per week
£475 - £525 per day (Inside IR35)
Initial 6-month contract, expected extension
Bright Purple is recruiting an experienced Functional Project Manager to join our client on a major ERP transformation programme. You will lead functional delivery across Finance, Commercial, Construction, and Land as our client implements COINS ERP across the business. This is a hands-on delivery role covering business process design, requirements, configuration, testing, deployment readiness, and business transition. You will bring business teams and implementation partners together, keeping delivery on track and managing dependencies across the wider programme.

What you’ll be doing
- Leading ERP functional workstreams across key business areas
- Driving requirements, process design, and solution reviews
- Managing implementation partner deliverables and business SMEs
- Coordinating dependencies across data, reporting, integrations, and architecture
- Managing risks, issues, decisions, and change requests
- Coordinating testing and business validation
- Supporting cutover, deployment, and hypercare

What we’re looking for
- Proven Project Management experience delivering ERP functional workstreams
- Strong ERP implementation experience
- Experience managing process design, testing, and deployment
- Strong supplier and implementation partner management skills
- Excellent planning, governance, and dependency management
- Confidence working with senior business and technology stakeholders
COINS experience and knowledge of Finance, Commercial, Construction, or property environments would be particularly useful.
