Duration: 12 months

Hourly pay rate: 91-94 GBP/hr (Inside IR35)

About the Role

The successful candidate will be responsible for maintaining and coordinating the Enterprise Risk Management (ERM) framework, supporting proactive risk management, informed decision-making, resilience and value creation across the organization.

Key Responsibilities

  • Maintain and apply the ERM framework, risk taxonomy, policies and processes
  • Support risk appetite, risk tolerance, KRIs and early-warning indicators
  • Coordinate risk monitoring, mitigation tracking and executive reporting
  • Prepare risk analysis and reporting for the Board, Audit Committee and senior executives
  • Support UK Corporate Governance Code Provision 29 activities and Annual Report & Accounts risk disclosures
  • Support implementation and effective use of GRC technology and risk dashboards
  • Coordinate horizon scanning, scenario analysis, stress testing and resilience assessments
  • Support the integration of risk management into transformation, planning and major change initiatives

Requirements

  • 7+ years of experience in Risk Management, ERM, Internal Control or Assurance
  • Strong knowledge of ERM frameworks, COSO ERM, risk appetite, risk tolerance and KRIs
  • Experience with scenario analysis, stress testing, resilience or viability assessments
  • Understanding of UK Corporate Governance Code – Provision 29
  • Experience with risk data, analytics dashboards and GRC technology
  • Experience working within complex, global or highly matrixed organizations
  • Excellent communication skills with experience engaging senior stakeholders
  • Professional certification such as IRM, FRM, CRISC, CERA, CFA or CIA is desirable
  • Optro / AuditBoard experience would be an advantage

  • Clear written and verbal communication, with confidence engaging senior stakeholders and preparing executive-level materials.
  • Collaborative and organised, with the ability to coordinate activity across a global matrix and follow through on commitments.
  • Comfortable working with technology, data and analytics.
  • Practical, adaptable and able to operate effectively in a volatile and complex environment.
