LiveMore exists to challenge the unfair NOs in the mortgage world. That’s why our mission is to empower mortgage brokers to lend more by turning NOs into YESs and by maximising affordable borrowing. By doing that whenever we can, we help our customers live more and be ready for all that’s yet to come.

Using our unique LiveMore Mortgage Matcher® and LiveMore Maximum Borrowing Calculator decision engine technology, we excel at overcoming challenges involving affordability, risk and Consumer Duty. We innovate for customers and mortgage brokers in need, where others don’t – like with LiveMore’s current mortgages ‘up to’, ‘into’ and ‘in’ retirement.

LiveMore is an innovative company with ambitious plans, and we know that our people are the key to achieving our goals. As evidence of our growth, in June 2025 we were recognised as one of the Top 100 Fastest Growing Companies in the UK by the Business Leaders 500. In 2025, we grew our annual lending volumes by over 80% to lend c.£350m and completed our second £200m+ securitisation.

Role

The Enterprise Risk Manager is responsible for supporting the operation, maintenance and continuous enhancement of LiveMore’s Enterprise Risk Management Framework, with specific responsibility for helping to embed effective operational resilience, business continuity planning, risk event management and GDPR/data protection risk oversight across the business.

Working closely with First Line risk owners and senior stakeholders, the role will help ensure principal risks are identified, assessed, mitigated, monitored and reported appropriately, including risks relating to important business services, third-party dependency, continuity planning, information governance and personal data protection.

Responsibilities

  • Support the ongoing development and maintenance of LiveMore’s Enterprise Risk Management Framework, ensuring risk management practices remain proportionate, effective and aligned to the needs of a growing UK mortgage lender.
  • Maintain the Company’s Risk Register, Risk Taxonomy and Risk and Control Self-Assessments, ensuring risks and controls remain current, accurate and consistently assessed.
  • Facilitate regular risk reviews with First Line risk owners, challenge risk assessments, track management actions and escalate overdue or material remediation items where appropriate.
  • Support the identification, assessment and management of operational, conduct, regulatory, consumer duty, data protection, outsourcing, information security and operational resilience risks.
  • Maintain the Risk Event and Incident Register, support root cause analysis, assess potential customer, regulatory, operational and data protection impacts, and ensure relevant lessons learned are incorporated into the control environment.
  • Support the ongoing maintenance and development of LiveMore’s Operational Resilience Framework, including Important Business Services, impact tolerances, dependency mapping, scenario testing, remediation tracking and governance reporting.
  • Maintain and coordinate Business Continuity Planning activity, including business impact analysis, continuity plans, testing schedules, lessons learned and action tracking with business owners.
  • Support GDPR and data protection governance, including DPIAs, privacy risk assessments, data incident reviews, supplier due diligence, records of processing activity and monitoring of data protection actions.
  • Prepare regular risk reporting, dashboards and management information for senior management, Risk Committee and Board-level governance as required.
  • Support regulatory horizon scanning, impact assessments and the monitoring of FCA requirements, including Consumer Duty, SM&CR, MCOB, outsourcing and operational resilience expectations.
  • Work with business stakeholders to identify emerging risks, control weaknesses and opportunities to improve the maturity of LiveMore’s risk and control environment.
  • Provide practical guidance to colleagues on risk management, incident management, risk acceptance, control assessment and governance requirements.
  • Promote risk awareness, accountability and constructive challenge across the organisation, supporting the embedding of a positive and proactive risk culture.

I’m in my final year doing Economics and I don’t know whether to apply for grad schemes now or do a masters first. What do you think?

Honest answer — it depends on where you want to end up. A lot of top grad schemes (Big 4, civil service, banking) don’t need a masters. Let’s look at the ones you’d be competitive for now, and we can decide if a masters actually adds anything.

Also worth knowing: most autumn 2026 applications are open now. Timing matters more than you think.

Start with a chat, not a search bar

Grad scheme, placement, apprenticeship? Not sure what you want yet — that's fine. Your agent talks it through with you and turns "I have no idea" into a shortlist.
