Enterprise Sales Director - Space Sector
We're looking for an experienced enterprise sales leader to lead international revenue growth across a portfolio of technology products serving government, defence and commercial customers.
This is first and foremost a sales leadership role. You'll own an international sales target, operate against a quarterly revenue cycle and be responsible for turning an established pipeline of opportunities into closed business.
This is also a genuine player-coach position. You'll lead and develop an experienced international sales team while remaining personally involved in the largest and most strategic opportunities.
Success will be measured by revenue, bookings, pipeline conversion and consistent delivery against quarterly sales targets.
What You'll Be Doing
- Own and deliver against quarterly and annual international sales targets.
- Lead the International Sales organisation across multiple geographic markets.
- Drive disciplined pipeline management, forecasting and opportunity progression.
- Personally lead major enterprise and government opportunities through qualification, negotiation and close.
- Coach Account Executives and Account Managers to improve conversion and consistently achieve quota.
- Develop senior relationships across government, defence and commercial enterprise customers.
- Identify opportunities to grow existing strategic accounts while driving new-logo acquisition.
- Establish clear sales methodologies, qualification standards and performance metrics.
- Work closely with Solutions, Product and Engineering teams throughout complex sales cycles.
- Provide accurate forecasting and visibility of revenue performance to executive leadership.
- Develop international go-to-market plans that translate quickly into executable sales activity and revenue.

I’m in my final year doing Economics and I don’t know whether to apply for grad schemes now or do a masters first. What do you think?
Honest answer — it depends on where you want to end up. A lot of top grad schemes (Big 4, civil service, banking) don’t need a masters. Let’s look at the ones you’d be competitive for now, and we can decide if a masters actually adds anything.
Also worth knowing: most autumn 2026 applications are open now. Timing matters more than you think.

Grad scheme, placement, apprenticeship? Not sure what you want yet — that's fine. Your agent talks it through with you and turns "I have no idea" into a shortlist.

Experience selling into government, defence, intelligence, aerospace or space customers would be highly valuable.
Direct space-sector experience is advantageous but is less important than demonstrating an exceptional record of enterprise technology sales and revenue delivery.
Whatever your background, you'll be someone who enjoys selling.
You'll be comfortable owning a number, reviewing pipeline, coaching salespeople, getting directly involved when a major opportunity needs support and ultimately being accountable for whether the team hits its target.
